Q What do you do?
(looking into expanding to e-books, case studies, and white papers).
I also specialize in social media management.
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
I have been a self-published blogger for 15+ years and worked double-duty as a social media manager at two entertainment industry institutions.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
With a robust background in the arts, having interned and worked at various theatre and film institutions in different capacities, along with a media studies degree, has proven to be a beneficial combination in furthering me along.
Q What are you working on right now?
I am currently writing content for a few clients and have recently expanded into doing agency work.
Q What’s your style?
My writing has always been bright, witty and informative. An example would be my work for Atlantic Television's blog.
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I'd love the chance to do more social media and really see how I can incorporate new ways to communicate with an organization's core audience.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
My main point of frustration is that most of my work is on a project-by-project basis. I would love a more steady influx to work off of.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
I'd have them find me some clients!
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
I wish I could have really told myself to research freelance basics more in-depth.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
I'd ask them about how to find the right work-life balance.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
I'm looking for more opportunities to work with successful companies, especially in the arts and culture space.
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
Ideally, a collaboration would encompass both content and social media, in a way that would highlight and really make use of my skills.
Q: What is your rate?
$30/hour, or $200 per article.
Q How should someone approach you about working together?
Q Who is a creative you admire?
I think Youtuber Cari Clark has a really unique eye for film and photography, and also has a strong background in community engagement, which makes perfect sense in being a self-employed Youtuber.

Q Oh! and… how do you stay creative?
I always try to find inspiration everywhere, from the films I watch to the books I read.
