So, what do you do?

I’m a wardrobe stylist - Collaboration and creativity in all things visual. From personal, to editorial, film and dance I cover different aspects of styling across the board!

Wow! This is awesome. Is this a full-time job for you?

This is a full time job.

What’s your favorite way to get your voice out there in terms of what you like?

I typically use Instagram and post to my web site. But the best way to communicate what I like is by having the conversation between myself and those who I find inspirational around me.

I’m always learning something new in all of these aspects!

If you have multiple jobs and/or skills, which one do you wish you could do more often?

First and foremost, I am a wardrobe stylist. However, I've had an obsession with doing nails/nail art since I was a kid so I wouldn't mind doing more of that. What's great about that, is it's within the realm of what I already do!

What are you working on right now?

Personal styling and shopping or what I like to call Image Consulting. This includes consultation with clients helping them to make the best informed decisions about their wardrobe - what they have in their closets, what to keep, what to get rid of, what/how to start anew! This is a great service for people who are looking for some guidance, or who don’t have time to shop and want to look and feel good! I love the various forms of wardrobe styling but find working directly with clients doing wardrobe and closet edits, the most fulfilling.

What is frustrating you right now? What is making your job/business/project hard to move forward?

I believe that this partially has to do with being freelance, but what's frustrating with my line of work is that jobs come in waves.  I'll have back-to-back gigs for days on end then all of a sudden I'm at a lull. It's a truth and frustrating aspect to my work however, it only pushes me to work harder.

What are you putting off right now, but you know you have to get to, but you haven’t had the time?

Sharing my story and putting myself out there more, be it social media or networking.

If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

I would have them do research and do client outreach. This would be research for various tasks related to fashion writing/marketing, niche designers and brands, and overall wardrobe styling and design.

If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

Can I pick two experts? Ha!
One, would be a financial expert. I'd ask them how I can be more responsible with my finances as someone who is freelance.
Two, a wardrobe stylist who's been in the game for many years. Although I myself am a stylist, I still consider myself to be a student and I'm ready to learn more!

What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for right now?

Styling projects that include collaborations with design and lifestyle oriented brands and other creatives.

How are you looking for these opportunities/projects right now?

One-on-one coffee meet ups, group meet ups, studio visits and skype!

Describe your ideal client/job/collaboration.

A writer, a photographer, art director, business minded people. Ones that are organized where we, jointly, see the big picture.

What is your rate?

This is dependent on the specified job/collaboration. However for Image Consulting, $80-$150/hr.

How should someone approach you about working with you?

A simple organic conversation and/or email. Feel free to hit me up!

Or coffee meet-up? Those are nice.

Absolutely :)
