Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
I hold a degree in Business Marketing from California State University, Long Beach. In 2018, I founded Wander Hat Company, a sustainable wide-brim hat business, which I officially launched in 2020. Through building this company, I gained expertise in branding, social media management, and influencer marketing.
Unfortunately, an illness during this time forced me to step back from the demands of full-time entrepreneurship. I dedicated time to understanding my health and exploring ways to recover. Now, I'm passionate about sharing my wellness journey on TikTok. I love educating others on clean eating, healthy products, mindful wellness practices, and managing digestive issues like IBS.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
I stand out in the wellness community by fearlessly addressing uncomfortable health topics. My style is direct yet lighthearted. I believe in the power of open conversations about sensitive issues and the importance of prioritizing clean eating to combat the rising rates of colon cancer.
Q What are you working on right now?
I'm launching a new series called "Let's Normalize It," where I'll be discussing topics like IBS, liver health, egg freezing, and the joys (and challenges) of being single in your 30s. Additionally, I'll be starting "Clean Eats I'm Buying Today," showcasing my favorite clean brands at various grocery stores. And coming soon, I'll be interviewing digestive health experts to share their insights on the best foods, testing, and questions to ask your doctor.
Q What’s your style?
My most successful videos are typically me talking directly to the camera. I also create “Come Shop with Me” videos at grocery stores, highlighting the store, products, ingredients, and my thoughts on purchasing them.
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I love sharing my favorite brands on my channel! When it comes to recommending products, I'm all about quality and transparency. As long as a brand aligns with my mission of promoting clean and healthy living, I'm happy to talk about it. Whether it's a skincare product or a delicious and nutritious food, I'm always excited to share my honest opinions and experiences with my audience.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
Finding the right balance between creating content that resonates with my audience and staying true to my brand identity can be challenging. I've been experimenting with different formats and styles to find what works best.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
I would have them manage my email inbox and vet brands on my behalf.
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
Closing my hat company due to my health was a devastating experience, not just for me but also for my loyal customers. At the time, I felt a profound sense of loss and uncertainty. If I could have looked back and seen the path ahead, knowing that I would not only recover but also become a resource for countless people struggling with similar health challenges, I would have found solace in that vision.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
I would love to chat more to clean brands who are equally as passionate as I am about providing healthy, non-toxic foods and products to consumers. I feel there is no end to the education around food ingredients and how to best take care of ourselves.

I’m a passionate advocate for health, wellness, clean eating, and sustainable living. With a dedicated TikTok following of 80K+ engaged individuals who share my values, I’m excited to collaborate with brands that align with my mission.

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
I had a fantastic experience collaborating with Modify Health, an IBS-friendly meal delivery service. I loved sharing my positive experience with their healthy meals and how they've helped me manage my IBS. My dream client would be a grocery store brand that I could personally endorse. I'm particularly interested in mindfulness-related products, as meditation has been a crucial part of my healing journey. Any sort of clean beauty product would be a blast for me as well!
Q: What is your rate?
My rates are flexible and depend on the specific partnership and deliverables involved. For a one-time video, my starting rate is $500, but the final cost can vary based on factors such as the length of the video, the complexity of the project, and any additional requirements. I'm particularly interested in long-term partnerships with brands that are looking for consistent content creation and promotion. By working together on a monthly basis, we can develop a deeper relationship and create more impactful campaigns. This can also lead to more favorable rates and benefits for both parties.
