WHAT DO YOU DO?

I’m a social media hustler, photography and design guru, strategy and ecommerce wiz.

I can help with anything from witty content creation to ecommerce photography, to rebranding.  We can talk SEO, creative strategy, pop culture, competitive reports, moodboards and everything in between – including your latest Bumble conversation. 
 

WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?

A lot of little baby ones...  In all seriousness, I started out as a Sociology major in University with a serious passion for the arts.  I made a lot of mood-boards on Tumblr and took a lot of shitty Iphone pictures.  And then I decided to combine what I was learning about social movements with what I loved and found myself in Photography and Design classes, in marketing internships and apprenticeships, and freelancing as a strategist.   The rest is... well boring history (but available on my LinkedIn).  
 

FOR OTHER PEOPLE IN YOUR FIELD, WHAT DO THEY USUALLY LACK?

The ability to connect the right brain to the left brain.  Being creative with strategy and being strategically creative all in the same breath.

WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?

Lack of edginess.  While I love to work for different brands I'm itching to do a few more edgy projects than I have been doing currently.

Match my socks to each other, cook my meals and organize my photography files.
 

LET'S BRING OUT THE TIME MACHINE. WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU COULD HAVE TOLD YOURSELF, WHEN, AND WHY?

During my senior year of high school, you'll become who you're supposed to be. During my freshman year of college, don't date the boy with the gelled hair. During my senior year of college, photography isn't the only thing that matters but it's close. And during my first year out of school, don't get your panties in a twist your life is yours to create. AND NOW, not everything has to be perfect to be acceptable.

The more technical side of web development.

Anything from creative strategy and rebranding to smaller freelance content projects. Super open at the moment!

My ideal client is one that is upfront with their expectations and is willing to be really collaborative throughout the process – sharing their inspiration and insights, while being willing to hear my insights based on experience and expertise.

WHAT IS YOUR HOURLY RATE, RETAINER, OR SALARY RANGE? 

My hourly rate for creative projects averages at $50 an hour, negotiable based on project scope, pace and frequency.  For more strategic marketing projects my rate averages at $60 an hour.
