WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?

I have a very diverse professional background, from flight attendant to hotel supervisor, IT project manager, corporate sales, online dating site owner, real estate photographer, college secretary, school registrar to web designer! I started blogging in 2005 and always dabbled with the code of my websites and in 2014 I turned that passion into my own business. I am completely self taught and learn by doing.

WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?

I recently launched three new products:

1) My 4th online course called 'Squarespace BizBox', where I provide an exclusive look inside my design studio and share everything that helped me grow a very successful and profitable business as a Squarespace web designer.

2) A web design service called 3-Day-Wonder where I design a professional site in, well, 3 days!

3) On a whim, because people email me with questions all the time, I started offering 1:1 Squarespace and business advice. These Ask-Me-Anything sessions are turning into quite the hit :)

WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?

Modern, clean, well organized, warm & welcoming. My own website probably represents this well :)

WE ARE ALL SLASHIES WITH MULTIPLE SKILLS, WHICH ONE DO YOU WISH YOU COULD DO MORE OFTEN?

Teaching, both online & offline. I have led many workshops throughout my corporate career and always loved it. I am intrigued by bringing the feel of a nurturing and effective classroom into an online environment.

WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?

I am so over the hustle and the 6-figure marketers who sell on hype and profits rather than substance and service! I find it all a little soul crushing to be honest and this is not how I want to run my own business. For me, providing great service and delivering high quality work is at the core of everything I do, so that’s what I try to focus on.

IF YOU COULD HIRE SOMEONE FOR $20/HR, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE THEM DO TO MAKE YOUR DAY EASIER?

Taxes and accounting. Online marketing. As I grow I would love help with managing emails and Facebook groups.

LET'S BRING OUT THE TIME MACHINE. WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU COULD HAVE TOLD YOURSELF, WHEN, AND WHY?

I would give my 20-year old self a big hug and tell her to stop dieting.

IF YOU COULD TALK TO AN EXPERT TO GAIN MORE INSIGHT ON SOMETHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE ABOUT?

I would love to talk with a business coach about managing my business growth from the perspective of a Highly Sensitive Person. I tend to hold myself back to avoid overwhelm but at the same time I want to grow my business, which is doing really well, into something truly amazing. I am unsure what next steps to take

WHAT KIND OF OPPORTUNITIES/PROJECTS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?

I design a limited number of websites every year so please reach out to me if you are interested in one of my web design services. The doors to my e-courses are always open :)

DESCRIBE YOUR IDEAL JOB/CLIENT/COLLABORATION.

In my two years as a web designer I have not had a single bad experience with a client. My clients come with their own sets of challenges and desires but all of them, without exception, have been lovely and wonderful to work with. As an empath I meet them where they are and I am also pretty easy going and have a strong service attitude, maybe that is also reflected back to me :)

WHAT IS YOUR HOURLY RATE, RETAINER, OR SALARY RANGE?

I no longer do hourly work. My website packages range from $2,250 - $5,000. My online course are between $27 - $397.
