Q What do you do?
I strive to use my design skills not only to create visually appealing aesthetics but also to spark conversations and convey purposeful, meaningful messages. With a keen eye for detail and a dedication to creativity, I aim to make a lasting impact through thoughtful and effective design solutions.
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
I received my BFA in graphic design from California State University of Long Beach. Throughout my college experience, my previous work and leadership roles have played a crucial role in shaping me into the designer and person I am today. My roles as a Social Media Lead and Project Manager in my graphic design program have not only helped me discover my passion for social media design and the world of marketing but have also provided clarity that I am capable of assuming and excelling leadership responsibilities.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
I've crafted my own style that makes brands stand out and connect with their audience. I'm all about paying attention to the little details in my designs, making sure each element counts. I'm dedicated to delivering top-notch work that fits exactly what my clients need. I love engaging with my audience and sharing my diverse portfolio of projects and success stories. Collaborating with others in the industry keeps me growing and pushing the boundaries. That's how I make my mark in social media and graphic design—by staying true to quality and creativity.
Q What are you working on right now?
I currently balance working as a part time Social Media Consultant as well as a Social Media Marketing Intern! At the moment, my work consists of brainstorming content ideas, designing content for Instagram and Mailchimp, and managing numerous accounts!
Apart from that, I have been working on my own socials along with helping a friend start his own brand!
Q What’s your style?
I would describe my personal style / perspective / taste as modern, playful, vibrant, trendy, and on occasion organized! However when working for my clients, I adapt to their brand, style, and audience.
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
Deep down I would love to believe that I have a good balance between social media and graphic design. If I had to choose, I wish I could focus on graphic design more, since that's the field I originally chose to pursue.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
The job market! Trying to find new gigs / a full time job during this post-grad life has been rough, but I am grateful to have my part time gig as a Social Media Consultant for a coding school as well as being able to intern for an agency!
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
I would love an assistant who could help me organize my tasks in order of urgency and priority, as well as be able to produce templates and initiate the outreach process for new clients.
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
I would love to tell my younger self to trust your instincts and don't be afraid to take creative risks. Some of the best work comes from stepping out of your comfort zone. Believing in your abilities is the first step towards achieving your full potential.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
If I could talk to an expert to gain more insight, it would be about the future of graphic design and social media trends. I'd seek advice on effective branding strategies to create and maintain a strong brand identity in an ever-evolving digital landscape, as well as techniques for engaging and growing a social media following authentically. Insights into the latest trends in typography and how they can be effectively utilized in various design projects would also be invaluable for staying ahead in the field and creating impactful, forward-thinking designs.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
I’m interested in opportunities/projects that allow me to use my graphic design, content creation, and social media management skills. Mostly, I would love to build new connections and to work with brands who are excited about this, too!
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
My ideal job involves collaborating with brands and artists in media who champion inclusivity and acceptance. I enjoy crafting cohesive visual identities across branding, packaging, and social media campaigns, particularly for clients with a bold, visionary approach. I find fulfillment in contributing to projects where creativity is celebrated and where I can help create meaningful, impactful design solutions.
Q: What is your rate?
My rates are flexible and tailored to fit each project, client, and scope of work. Monthly packages generally range between $500 and $2000. However for smaller projects, don't hesitate to reach out to discuss hourly rates!
