Q What do you do?
Essentially, I write words that sell for websites, emails, sales pages, and more.
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
Back in the day, I worked a side gig as an ad writer for an agency, making about 1 cent per word and hating life. When I was laid off from the service industry in 2020, I decided to use that SEO/copywriting experience do my own thing!
I have always had a knack for writing, so to be able to use that natural ability to help other people live their dreams and secure their bag is my absolute dream come true.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
I stand out for my style, and my personality. The world of marketing can be so clean-cut, cold, and honestly, boring. It's easy to fall into the trap of looking people as metrics and dollar signs, and lose sight of humanity in the midst of all this capitalism. But I put personality, connection, fun, and vision above profit (which, incidentally, results in more profit… huh). To me, there is no point in existing in the infinite online space unless your corner of it is joyful, useful, unique, or a combination of all of the above.
Q What are you working on right now?
I have a revolving roster of insanely f*cking cool clients and projects. On any given day, I'm working on a website, sales page, or email for someone super inspirational.

Q What’s your style?
My personal style is radically honest, human, straightforward, and fun. I always have a heavy preference towards brands/websites/people that don't take themselves too seriously.
But the magic of what I do is in the adaptability and flexibility of my style. It's my job to adapt my writing to fit into a brand's individual voice. So, when it comes to my work, my tone and style change with every project.
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I wish that people would come to me for creative direction and strategy more often. I am kind of a business/creative idea machine, and I obviously can't use all of them for my own business. I would love to ideate and direct a campaign, or help someone flesh out their big-picture creative brand strategy.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
In a big-picture sense, I've been really frustrated at business owners who use shady/unethical/fear-based marketing to make sales. It's like using all of your abilities for evil when you could just as easily use them for good. In the day to day, I really despise the tech side of business -- automations, systems, the works. But I have an OBM that handles all of that ish for me, thank goodness.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
I would hire a jr. writer to handle the research and more tedious writing/editing that is inevitable with every project.
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
The boring answer is that I would've told myself to double major in college. I have a theater degree and I don't regret it, but they had an entrepreneurship program at my college that I kind of wish I had been a part of. The fun answer is: go back in time to visit me as a baby, kiss myself on the head and tell me that it's all gonna be okay, and maybe hang out with my mom for a bit.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
I would love to work with someone who is an expert on work/life balance, boundaries, and organization. Those aren't my strong suit and I often feel like they're sorely lacking in my business.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
I'm currently looking to write websites and/or large, multi-platform launch campaigns for creative brands, service providers, and entrepreneurs. I want more long-term creative projects where myself and the client are partnered up for a long time, working on multiple different aspects of their brand.
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
My dream client is an established creative business that wants to refine their brand voice and really start standing out in their industry. Essentially, I love working with innovative people who take themselves seriously enough to invest in the longevity of their business, but also aren't afraid to have a little fun with their brand.

Depending on the scope of the project, working with me typically costs between $2,200-$5,000+. I custom quote pretty much every project, so feel free to reach out for a more accurate idea of cost!
