Q What do you do?

I am a Passionate, sometimes Goofy, Design obsessed Brand Designer and Strategist.

I'm a little too obsessed with Oatmilk Lattes and exploring every Local Coffee shop in sight. I went to school for Design and started freelancing shortly after. (And, so glad I did!) My dog Milo is my pride and joy. My family and friends mean the absolute world and I hold those I love near and dear. I'm a homebody at heart (Which in turn makes this the perfect job for me, for many reasons.) Although I am a Homebody, I also have an undying itch for traveling. When I can, I absolutely do, and it leaves me so inspired in my life and in work. Fun fact: I worked in Social Media Management before becoming a Brand Designer & actually still have one lovely Social Media client to this day. We've become great friends.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

I went to school for Design, worked in Social Media for a while, and then became a Freelance Brand Designer. Working in Social Media before this gave me a unique insight into Brands that I would not have had otherwise. I am able to really understand them from the backend as well. (Super thankful for that!)

Q How do you stand out in your field?

Aside from also being experienced in the Social Media realm, and taking that knowledge into Branding my clients, I become great friends with them. They are not just a client to me and I am so thankful and excited for every inquiry. Most clients I have had are still friends to this day. I love watching their Business scale, and it’s always so cool to be a part of the groundwork process!

Q What are you working on right now?

I just wrapped up a project for an Interior Design Blogger / Photographer and it's been so much fun sending her the final files and hearing her kind words.

Q What’s your style?

Minimalistic, Meaningful Design are my two favorite words to describe my Design style. I also have a slight Editorial vibe to my work! Minimalism is timeless and to me, more meaningful. There's intention applied to every part that will last you decades to come. Plus, it is oh-so aesthetically pleasing to look at.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

I would love to focus more on work with Interior Creatives/Designers + Sustainable Brands. I love supporting and helping any female-owned Brand though as long as I feel it's aligned. I have worked with many Photographers and love that so much too!

Q What is frustrating you right now?

Probably getting ghosted sometimes. As I'm sure happens with any business so I try not to get too down about it!

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

Handling the Contract / Invoice tasks!

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

I wish I would have told myself I could do it sooner. I grew up in a small-ish town that didn't always allow for big dreams. For me, growing up very creatively inclined, brought a sense of nervousness for my future. I got caught up in what I was "supposed" to do instead of going for what I was truly passionate about and good at. I live in a bigger city now, and I am so thankful I found this Industry and moved forward doing what I love!

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

I believe we can all learn and improve, and that is what is exciting honestly! I would just love to talk to someone that has been in Business for a decade so they can pass forth some wisdom.

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

Full Branding Projects + Design Intensives.

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

Oh, love this question. My ideal client is fun, laid back, kind, trusting, and aligned with my style. Clients that I have absolutely loved working with have those qualities and it makes the process fun and rewarding on both ends.

Q: What is your rate?

My Full Branding packages currently start at $2500. I also offer another option called a Design Intensive for $1200. The Design Intensive is a project where you get me for a whole day (8 hours) and whatever we get done in regards to your Brand you can leave with. We do prep work a few days prior. This is for those on a stricter budget, or those that are certain on the exact vision they're going for / care less about the details that a Full Package includes. I also offer add ons such as Social Media Graphics. Everybody is different and I wanted to offer options to cater to all Businesses! I got you.

Q How should someone approach you about working together?

My website inquiry form (preferred method) or email -- I would love for the client to communicate their budget, scope, and anything else that shows their personality!

Q Who is a creative you admire?

Carol is an amazing friend and fellow Designer. She has a beautiful sense of style and she's such a fun, easygoing personality.

Q Oh! and… how do you stay creative?
