WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
I’ve worked professionally as a website + marketing designer for almost 5 years now. I’ve helped over a dozen creative entrepreneurs to craft standout websites. AND I’ve taught 100+ students my method of creating user-friendly websites through my online courses.
From this, I’ve discovered that what I do exceptionally well is to balance the creative with the analytical. I blend your voice + vision into a well-crafted website that contrasts you from the competition and attracts more clients to your digital doorstep.
FOR OTHER PEOPLE IN YOUR FIELD, WHAT DO THEY USUALLY LACK?
I find that other people in web design usually do "branding" and website design from an aesthetic perspective. And so they aren't always as strong in related skills that integrate with (and amplify) the design (like copywriting and marketing strategy).
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
I'm learning more about marketing and design for b2b SaaS companies and am experimenting with some different strategies that aren't the traditional Google PPC ads, which are crazy expensive.
WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?
Androgynous, bold, approachable, and with a touch of rebellion. I feel like this Pinterest board best represents my style and taste.
WE ARE ALL SLASHIES WITH MULTIPLE SKILLS, WHICH ONE DO YOU WISH YOU COULD DO MORE OFTEN?
I'd love to do more comprehensive website audits and strategy plans but, unfortunately, most people don’t realize how valuable those are and want to jump straight into the design.
WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?
Responding to emails, updating my blog post graphics, adding posts to my Instagram schedule, and optimizing my Twitter and FB posts queue (meaning improving the captions, removing irrelevant or dead links, etc).
IF YOU COULD HIRE SOMEONE FOR $20/HR, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE THEM DO TO MAKE YOUR DAY EASIER?
Work on building my Insta following by liking and commenting on posts, updating my blog post graphics, and basically all of the tasks I just mentioned above.
LET'S BRING OUT THE TIME MACHINE. WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU COULD HAVE TOLD YOURSELF, WHEN, AND WHY?
I wish I had told myself when I first went to NYU that I should enroll in their Gallatin school and create my own degree program combining marketing, UX, and entrepreneurship.
IF YOU COULD TALK TO AN EXPERT TO GAIN MORE INSIGHT ON SOMETHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE ABOUT?
I'd love to talk to someone that's killing it as a SaaS enterprise-level business owner (in terms of marketing effectively).
WHAT KIND OF OPPORTUNITIES/PROJECTS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
I want to collaborate (aka learn from) other creatives, I want to make friendships, expand my mind, and open my world. Working from home leaves me in a bubble.
DESCRIBE YOUR IDEAL JOB/CLIENT/COLLABORATION.
I want to help women to create lives on their own terms, to shirk the status quo, and to get out from under the thumb of "the man". I want to help them to create standout brands that bring them consistent (and highly comfortable) profits so that they have the freedom and flexibility to live where they want to, work where they want to, and travel often.
WHAT IS YOUR HOURLY RATE, RETAINER, OR SALARY RANGE?
My all-in-one website package starts at $4000.
HOW SHOULD SOMEONE APPROACH YOU ABOUT WORKING TOGETHER?
Just send me an email. But I think I'd prefer text or Voxer or Slack in general.
HOW DO YOU STAY CREATIVE?
Consume varied content, find connecting threads.
