Q What do you do?

We’re a Black and female owned creative production company thats concepts, produces, and executes compelling and culturally-rich stories for brands, artists, and companies.

We exist at the intersection of culture and corporate.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

Micole Creative Studios was founded in 2019 by Tannis Spencer. Having spent the majority of her professional career working in Corporate America, she decided to start MCS after having experienced the need and void of Black female representation behind the screen and in the decision making processes.

Clients come to us for authentic culturally rich content production that centers people, not just product.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

MCS is a Black-owned and female led production company, clients often seek out our creative services because of our unique perspective and creative leadership behind the lens. We prioritize diverse collaborators and clients who can benefit from our digital-first approach to content creation and brand storytelling.

Q What are you working on right now?

Right now we’re developing some original content series and shows!

Client work is always our priority but when we have down time, we love developing fun photo and video ideas that we can execute for ourselves in-house. It’s important to show we have a perspective beyond our client projects as well.

Q What’s your style?

AUTHENTIC. IMPACTFUL. BOLD. NUANCED.

We love to tell stories in both motion and still formats - the possibilities are endless. We’ve created TV-style video series, eye catching 10s motion graphics, captivating photo editorials and more. At the center of everything we create, is rich storytelling.

This video from our project with Foot Locker is a great example of our visual style and storytelling approach for a new product release.
