WHAT DO YOU DO?
Very open minded and full of creative ideas. Because of that I am very good at turning words into visual by drawing, painting or creating digitally.
I am creative photographer. Being attentive to details helps me notice things that most people miss.
I am a creative writer who helped many others to discover it in themselves and start writing.
WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
A whole life I would say. A life full of challenges and troubles. Also my will, my patience, my curiosity and courage to do things I have never done before without giving up in the middle of the way, because something did not work out well. One of the most important thing is that I have never stopped learning new things and being busy with doing at my best.
How do you stand out in your field?
My background varies, because I’ve had to do too many different things in my life. Some way it formed my mind and my thinking in different ways and I somehow manage to get out of the box easier. I can look at things different way and always find creative solutions, that usually are very simple, but only after you discover them.
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
I am part of few very interesting projects together with other artists. Also daily working on getting better in things I can and learning few new skills.
WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?
I would say my style is simple, honest and easy to understand. My work always speaks for me.
Somehow I have always had style. Even at university people would be able to guess my work by just looking at it.
WE ARE ALL SLASHIES WITH MULTIPLE SKILLS, WHICH ONE DO YOU WISH YOU COULD DO MORE OFTEN?
I love creating book covers, love photography, writing and also am working on developing my skills to become good at documental movie making.
I am someone who always manage to do several things together and somehow always create bridges between things I work on. Everything I mentioned above is Art for me and I want to become better, to make my art speak about important things and bring it to others, help them notice and guide them trough.
WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?
Before Covid I was earning $ with job unconnected to art and was using all my free time for art. Now that job has disappeared and I decided that I want to learn how to earn with my creativity. I am at the beginning and I can’t wait for things to get going to do and create more. I know I can do more, but am not yet there where I can fully be me which can be frustrating.
IF YOU COULD HIRE SOMEONE FOR $20/HR, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE THEM DO TO MAKE YOUR DAY EASIER?
It's pretty hard to answer this one. Don't know how, but somehow I always find way to enjoy doing whatever I am doing. So I really don't know.
LET'S BRING OUT THE TIME MACHINE. WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU COULD HAVE TOLD YOURSELF, WHEN, AND WHY?
I would tell my younger self that it is totally ok to say no, because I did not know I had the right to say no and that sometimes made my life really complicated.
But then again maybe it’s better that things happened as they did, because going through what I went through made me the way I am and I am happy to be here and now! I’m taking care that in 10 years I won't be saying “I wish i did that or knew that back then” about today.
IF YOU COULD TALK TO AN EXPERT TO GAIN MORE INSIGHT ON SOMETHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE ABOUT?
Knowing more about how to help others to see the way I see. Sometimes things are so simple and people can tend to make things more complicated.
WHAT KIND OF OPPORTUNITIES/PROJECTS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
Book cover designs, illustrations, creative visual solutions and projects that could use creative mind to get through.
DESCRIBE YOUR IDEAL JOB/CLIENT/COLLABORATION.
I love collaboration, so every client is ideal because I love doing what I do and they will love getting what they get. I see everything as an opportunity for something better to be manifested.
Who is a creative that has helped you elevate your work?
Oh world is full of amazing people and things. I discover them daily. My first inspiration as an adult was TedTalks, books as they opened a whole new world for me many years ago and still surprise me today. Actually every person in ones life is inspiring. I always say that each and every person is a whole universe and if you look at that person with curious eyes you might learn something from everyone.
HOW SHOULD SOMEONE APPROACH YOU ABOUT WORKING TOGETHER?
Through email and with the details about the work.
HOW DO YOU STAY CREATIVE?
Creativity is like a fresh air for my soul. I think it’s kind of a glasses you put on yourself. Long time ago I decided to look for good things and somehow it became so natural for me that I can turn even something totally bad, dull, boring into something interesting and nice. I think it’s all about daring to see.
