Q What do you do?
My focus is empowering local businesses, supporting small entrepreneurs, and helping individuals and brands unlock their full potential.
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
I started my career in London doing a bunch of internships with a variety of brands/services and ended up as an in-house deigner for a fashion brand. After a couple of years there I decided to come back home (Portugal) and started freelancing full time and now in the past year me and my partner in crime aka bff decided to found our own creative studio, après- creative studio.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
WE BUILD TRUST - We prioritize transparency, honest and open dialogue with our clients. We’ll never promise something that we can’t deliver.
WE ARE A SAFE SPACE - Our focus is on empowering local businesses, supporting small entrepreneurs, and helping individuals and brands unlock their full potential. We prioritize collaborations with brands led by women, people of color, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
WE BRING THAT EXTRA JE NE SAIS QUOI - We challenge traditional narratives and provide a platform for individuals and brands to discover their path and community while promoting actions and services that contribute to a better society.
WE ARE A SCALABLE STUDIO - We adapt our team based on the project need, this way we can add specialists in the core client group.
Q What are you working on right now?
Right now we are working on a creative campaign for a new brand launching in February. We've been working on it for the past year and we're super excited to bring it to the world.
Q What’s your style?
We really emerge on the brand style and essence and always design accordingly to the audience needs but I can say that we have a crush on maximalism and bold design. And of course fun colour palettes.
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I think it would be more of branding and photography. I really can't choose one over the other. They are my biggest passions.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
Management... Trying to organize all the business side and project management is really frustrating.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
All this admin issues and project management. I mean that would be a life saver and I could focus just on the creative part.
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
When I was in Uni, I was very lost and frustrated with the course.. and I would/ve told to follow more my intuition and do what I like.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
I would love to know more about the business side. My dream is to have a team and I really want to know how to inspire them more and how to take this studio to another level.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
Branding or Rebranding. I really love to start on a project and go through all the different solutions and how to improve the brands.
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
Beauty, fashion, lifestyle brands and would love to work with galleries and museums.
Q What is your rate?
Our branding projects start at +3k and we cover all from strategy to verbal identity and visual identity. Websites are starting at +2K depending on the project, platform..
We also do Social Media Management starting at 2K where we do a social media strategy, content planning and design, posting and analytics.
