Q What do you do?

Photography, creative direction, video!

I shoot on all mediums which include film vhs, old school super 8s, and pro digital. Photography is what I’m known for while I also creative direct my shoots and campaigns but I’m also skilled in shooting video. I edit all my photos as well but do use editors for most video work.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

Practice and life experience. I’ve been doing photography for my entire life... literally. My family has photos I’ve taken as a baby, the oldest dating back to me being 1 years old. For my second day career day I did a project on photography. I saved up doing lemonade stands for years to buy my first camera in the 6th grade because my parents couldn't afford to get me one. In middle school I took photo classes at the local high school and learned all the technical basics. By the age of 15 I was doing professional paid work for clothing brands which at the time found my work through tumblr and instagram. I dropped out of high school to pursue photography full time. I've shot everything to clothing campaigns, music events, engagement photos, album covers, family photos, etc.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

My passion, 100%. As a child this all I've ever dreamed of. As a teen and young adult we struggle so much with identity... that’s never been an issue when it comes to my career and my passion only grows. Along with that my ability to shift into every style and aesthetic. I've never been a photographer to stick myself in a box, if you see my work you'll see how many different styles I shoot in.

Q What are you working on right now?

Creating different mediums to show off my work! Currently putting some prints into collages and making skateboards out of them. Excited to shift my photography into a physical medium thats not just prints. I hate feeling limited.

Q What’s your style?

I'm very versatile.. but this is some work I'd say embodies me the most:

super 8 video shoot
glitterflick.com- most of my personal projects, specifically the sickly in beauty video stills shot on film
the techno fridge shoot
adventures in an abandoned ballroom
diary of a broken heart
glitterflick.com/artists - i also love the living weapon album cover

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

Photos are my number 1 as always, but I feel I haven't been given an opportunity to direct and do video work which I know I could nail!

Q What is frustrating you right now?

Being lost in the sea of other talented artists online! Finding my way to stick out and find jobs. I haven't had the time to adapt to promoting myself on tik tok/ through reels which I know that’s where social media is shifting. Just getting my work seen by the right people.

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

Pick up props, drop off film, help with location scouting, model hunting.

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

Oh man.... back in 2016-2017 I was in the forefront of the big music boom from soundcloud to mainstream... I lived with some of the biggest artists of that era. I would've told myself to not feel like asking the people around me to shoot was me using them. I have witnessed some of the most magical music moments and I let it disappear. My biggest regret ever. Be confident and push myself harder in that time, I was around the right people for my work to explode, I was honestly just shy and didn't want to use the resources around me... but I was young and now i've grown so much from that time and am more than ready to speak up and put my work forward!

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

How to not get down on yourself during slow periods, pushing through creative blocks.

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

Photo projects, would love to do more album covers and campaigns as well for clothes. Also shooting for magazines would be amazing. I'd love to photograph actors and artists through my eye and vision.

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

Someone who is open and trust worthy,. I love working with people/ companies that are excited to collaborate. The best work comes from the love and enjoyment from both parties. Someone who truly believes in my work and is excited to shoot. It always makes for the best results.

Q What is your rate?

My starting rate is $450 and it goes up to - $2,500 depending on what it’s for, how long the project will take, what medium, etc!

Q How should someone approach you about working together?
