WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
I have always loved and appreciated beautiful things and great design. After graduating from The Glasgow School of Art I moved to New York where I interned for a year and was immersed in the world of luxury fashion, beauty and design. Following New York, I moved to London where I worked for Harper’s Bazaar, The Telegraph, Selfridges and GRAFF. I am now based in sunny LA!
How do you stand out in your field?
I have experience working for globally renowned clients such as Harper's Bazaar, The Telegraph magazines, GRAFF and Selfridges.
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
I am currently working on a couple of projects. One is working remotely on an editorial project for a luxury hotel group in London and the other is coming up with ideas and creative direction for a LA based events company.
WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?
My style is simple, sophisticated and playful.
WE ARE ALL SLASHIES WITH MULTIPLE SKILLS, WHICH ONE DO YOU WISH YOU COULD DO MORE OFTEN?
Art direction for events. I have so much experience designing for pages and screens but the few times I have worked on events and window designs I have loved every minute.
WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?
As I am new to LA I am currently struggling with making contacts but hopefully platforms like this will help!
IF YOU COULD HIRE SOMEONE FOR $20/HR, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE THEM DO TO MAKE YOUR DAY EASIER?
Errands and helping me with emails at the end of each day.

I would tell my 25 year old self 'Don't worry and live in the present’.
IF YOU COULD TALK TO AN EXPERT TO GAIN MORE INSIGHT ON SOMETHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE ABOUT?
I think learning more about business development as well as all the legal aspects of being self employed. And putting myself out there - I need to be better at that!
