WHAT DO YOU DO?
“I create visual content for advertising campaigns and editorial outlets. ”
Duties include, but not limited to: producing, directing, set-dressing, location scouting, shooting, and editing. I also illustrate custom visuals for album covers + merchandise, brand campaigns, and the like.
WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
I’m a self taught videographer. I began shooting and clipping together videos of my friends when I was twelve. I eventually began shooting weddings in high school (for free) until I gained enough knowledge and experience to start booking paid jobs. My learning process has required a lot of trial and error.
How do you stand out in your field?
Working with clientele that share the same aesthetic preference as I do keeps me passionate and excited about my job. Therefore, consistency is key for me. I work hard to keep a body of work that communicates a consistent vibe. What you see is what you get!
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
Brand campaigns and fashion advertisements for paid media channels.
WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?
Minimalism inspires me most and I adore working with brands that have a similar vision. This is a campaign I shot for an organic cotton underwear company, Basal.

I love shooting and directing at the same time, but I would love to work on more projects where my only job is to conceptualize + direct.
WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?
Sometimes it feels like everyone has the same job as me, and that can be... overwhelming.

I would love to learn how to properly invest in the stock market.
WHAT KIND OF OPPORTUNITIES/PROJECTS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
I absolutely love collaborating with brands and creating fashion focused content, but I would be thrilled at the opportunity to direct music videos and narrative short films. My ultimate goal is to find solid representation and management for my work.
DESCRIBE YOUR IDEAL JOB/CLIENT/COLLABORATION.
My ideal collaboration is when my entire team is in a flow state. Everything is moving quickly but happens kindly and collaboratively. Nothing inspires me more than when new ideas are born during a shoot! Sticking to a script tends to bore me.
WHAT IS YOUR HOURLY RATE, RETAINER, OR SALARY RANGE?
This varies gig to gig. My rate is always based on the amount of time it will take, personal fulfillment, and the usage + client.
