Q What do you do?

I am a photographer who loves shooting commercial lifestyle, sports and product!

I wanted to be in the footwear industry when I was young and it has evolved into this world where I can be adjacent to so many industries that I find myself being obsessed with.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

I began working as a photographer while I was in college and went full freelance as soon as I graduated. I have been blessed to be full-time freelance for over 5 years and have been doing photography for 10 years!

Q How do you stand out in your field?

I am in this field because I am obsessed with it, I always try to have pops of color in my work and at the end of the day I am a consumer. I want to create images that I would want to see when I am either shopping in-person or online.

Q What are you working on right now?

I am working on post-production for a Malbon Golf campaign, doing creative direction for an upcoming campaign with Lids and putting together a content capture team for a grassroots sporting event with Adidas.

Q What’s your style?

I love mixing my photos with art and additional pops of color when the creative allows it. A good example of this would be my shoot with Garrett Wilson x Adidas which can be found here

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

Building a kids clothing company!

Q What is frustrating you right now?

It is always the business side for me. Managing invoices, financials, etc. I am at a crossroads of whether I should try and find management or continue to do things on my own.

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

Manage emails and help with potential outreach.

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

I wish I could have told my 18/19 year old self to be patient and enjoy the process because there are times where I miss the mind state I was in to get to where I am today. I was so driven and still didn't think I was doing enough.

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

How to continue elevating my career..how do I get repped by an artist agency..how can I be more effective in my pitch process, etc.

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

Any type of commercial photography work! I love shooting look books, sports, music, etc. I also would love to do more editorial/fashion work.

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

Ideal client is a major footwear company like adidas or Nike and getting to shoot a global campaign. I've shot two global kids campaigns for Nike and it was an amazing experience. The agency was super collaborative and trusted my vision. Also, I recently seen a Sonos headphone campaign and thought about how much I would have loved that project.

Q: What is your rate?

Lower end budgets typically start in the 3K range, a big campaign is somewhere in the 6-10K/day range. Have received budgets in the 6-figure range for larger projects that involve production out of me and my team as well.

Q How should someone approach you about working together?

vincesirico@gmail.com! This will be the fastest to way to get in contact with me. My website can be found at vincesirico.com
