is looking for a creative designer to intern at our Studio

Atwater Village, CA

Another Human is looking for an organized, proactive and creative designer to join the studio as a design intern. The current position would be focused on assisting with residential and commercial interior design projects as needed, though an interest in furniture design is encouraged. The position has the potential to become a design assistant position for the right candidate.

Primary Tasks:

  • Assist with interior design project administration

  • Gathering quotes, tracking orders, updating project schedules, etc.

  • Creating/editing design presentations

  • Pulling fabric and material samples for projects

  • AutoCAD plans, elevations and furniture details as necessary

Requirements:

  • Available 8-10 hours per week

  • Could be one 8 hour day or split across two days as 4-5 hour shifts

  • Currently enrolled or recent graduate of college program in design

  • AutoCAD strongly preferred

  • Outstanding organizational skills, ability to quickly and flexibly problem solve

  • Professional communication skills for phone calls/meetings with vendors and clients

  • Other programs a plus - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

  • Start date is beginning of August, Hourly rate of $20/hour
