is looking for an intern to join our L.A. team

Arts District, CA

Hem Design Studio is looking for a punctual, proactive, creative thinker to join our team in our busy showroom and office located in the Arts District. The current intern position is focused on administrative and facilities duties. This position has potential for growth into a weekend day position in customer support.

Primary tasks:

  • Assist with shipping fabric, wood, metal samples via FedEx and USPS

  • Organize storage areas, and restock items on showroom floor

  • Help with showroom events such as the Warehouse Sale


Requirements:

  • Available for two 4-hr shifts weekly. Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

  • Commitment to a minimum 3 month position with a 2 week trial period.

  • Currently enrolled in a college program (preferably in design)

  • Outstanding problem solving abilities, organizational skills, and communication skills

  • Have great computer skills (excel, experience with Shopify a plus).

  • Hourly rate of $15.00, starting immediately.
