Block Shop, an LA-based home textiles and apparel brand is looking for a fun, talented creative content producer & social media manager to join our team> part-time for a 3 mo. contract (Oct-Dec).
The job:
Shooting and editing REELs and TikToks
Accompanying Block Shop on set, orchestrating & capturing beautiful content throughout our shoots
Red carpet-ing Block Shop events (capturing content, informally interviewing guests and customers)
Understanding Block Shop’s tone and writing thoughtful, funny, and well informed captions
Digging through Block Shop photo archives and uncovering gems
Working in lock step with our Head of Brand to build out Block Shop’s social media calendar
Leading Block Shop’s holiday partnership outreach
About you:
You’re a skilled and talented social media content producer and editor with at least 3 yrs of experience
You have a proven track record of engaging, original content for a great brand
You understand lighting, composition, and how to make products and people shine
You work quickly and efficiently and don’t need a lot of oversight
You are highly creative and forward thinking person who can bring great ideas forward to our team with confidence and conviction
You have great follow through and will put the work in to bringing these great ideas to life
You understand the internet landscape but don’t live and die by trends
You work well on teams and in a fast-paced environment
