Brains on Fire is looking for a qualified Account Executive to join our LA team. Must be flexible, organized and able to hold your own in our fast-paced, fun, friendly, client-focused environment. Our ideal AE will have five years of agency or brand-side experience, as well as experience managing interactive projects. A go-getter mentality with a DIY spirit is a plus for this role. We hire for life and love, and are looking for our perfect match for compatibility vs. an immediate project need. As a Brains on Fire AE, you’ll collaborate with our creative team, nurture client relationships, all while keeping work flowing and the agency running like a well-oiled machine. We could never list all the things our amazing AEs do, but here are a few of their key duties and responsibilities:


  • Learn all aspects of Client business

  • Understand goals and objectives

  • Build relationships with relevant contacts

  • Research industry/market and the competitive landscape

  • Project manage internal team

  • Work with your creative and strategic team to drive project development and problem solving

  • Coordinate internal resources needed and develop workback plans to keep team on-target -Input/monitor all task progress in Asana and ensure ongoing compliance with project scope

  • Manage client relations -Serve as the front person for all client-facing interactions: meetings, emails, status reports, recaps, agendas, etc.

  • Own and distribute all information including plans and proposals, scheduling, costs, and timelines to the Client and the internal team

  • Monitor billing and other things financial

  • Track billing schedules, outside costs, purchase orders, invoices and estimates.
