Main Area of Focus:
Assist Director in social content planning for various brands
Assist creative department in creating content for various brands
Assist Director in social content organization and strategic planning
Source and communicate with potential influencer partnerships for various brands
Conduct industry research to stay on top of relevant topics and trends
The role is primarily in-office, full-time employment in Costa Mesa, CA. Position Summary:
The Social Media + Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Social Media Director in executing social media accounts for a variety of clients as well as sourcing and communicating with potential influencer and affiliate partnerships for our brands. This role works collaboratively with other team members within the Creative Department to create efficiencies and the most effective outcome for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for all forms of social media and look forward to working within a fast-paced team environment with multiple beauty and wellness brands. You should be up-to-date with the latest social media platforms, trends, applications, and content creation tools. You should have the ability to learn new social media platforms as needed for clients. You should have excellent communication skills, extremely high attention to detail, as well as ongoing determination to meet and overcome challenges. You should be ready to take initiative, keep projects organized, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with coworkers and clients.
Responsibilities:
Source and communicate potential partnerships for the brand
Keep an ongoing list of communication with potential brand partners
Enter shopify orders for approved brand partners
Social media content planning as applicable by platform, including visual layout, suggestions for captions, and hashtags, amongst others
Support social campaigns and coordinate special projects
Assist with brainstorming original ideas for content creation
Social video content creation, including concept development, filming, and editing
Coordination of content review/edits/approvals with clients
Scheduling and posting of approved social media content
Some community engagement and outbound engagement
Represent our clients as an extension of their internal team
Ensure that all messaging, visuals, and communication is aligned and on-brand
Support in the ongoing quarterly creative planning and development
Prepare monthly highlights, quarterly, and annual reports
Research, evaluate, and stay informed regarding new social media trends, platforms, strategies, and best practices
Perform ongoing research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
Qualifications & Skills:
LOVES social media
Has an interest and passion for the beauty industry
Desire to be a part of a small team that’s growing
Must have excellent project management skills with high attention to detail
Approaches challenges with creative solutions, strategic recommendations, and a positive attitude
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Resourceful team player
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
Continually brings new ideas to the team for consideration
Experience & Requirements:
Must have at least one year of experience providing social media coordination for a brand/business
Must have experience with TikTok
Must have experience creating social video content
Must have some experience writing social captions
Must have experience with social media community management
Experience with Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Snapchat is ap lus
Experience with Monday as a project management software is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time, Hourly Employee
Pay: $18-$22/hour depending on experience
