Design Assistant for Architecture and Design Studio

Architecture and design studio specializing in mid-century architectural restoration and interiors is seeking an assistant to join our office. Our studio is located in West Hollywood with projects throughout the greater Los Angeles area. 

The design assistant helps to complete the day-to-day design work needed to facilitate construction and design projects. The position requires attention to detail, organization, flexibility and the ability to multitask effectively. 

Responsibilities:

  • Create drawings and details for design and construction. 
  • Follow instructions of lead designer accurately and efficiently. 
  • Assist in general design work. 

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCad and Sketch Up Pro. 
  • An appreciation and understanding of mid-century architecture and design. 
  • General knowledge of construction, architecture, and design.
