FLO Vitamins is a Los Angeles-based health & wellness brand built on the idea that small acts of self-care produce positive outcomes. We’ve created the first-ever PMS gummy vitamin, designed to make periods and the symptoms that come with them more tolerable. Job Summary
The Digital Designer is an essential part of the Creative Team, working closely with the Art Director to support all Marketing, eCommerce and overall Brand goals. You will develop and execute a wide range of marketing and branded materials that are thoughtful, conceptually strong, eye-catching —while staying true to the fun, feminine, (and a little feisty) aesthetic our fanbase has come to love. You will design Web Pages, Paid and Organic Social, Digital Banners and Email Marketing Campaigns.
We’re looking for someone with a strong sense of visual identity and design principles. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, consistent, and can make sure projects are executed within deadlines. As the Digital Designer, you’ll work closely with the Art Director and cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to find creative ways to keep our FLO fanbase coming back for more. Your work will drive direct, measurable growth for the business. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and startup culture, and is excited to set and meet aggressive goals.
The Digital Designer reports to the Art Director and will work closely with FLO vitamins’s leadership team to further expand our marketing program and develop our product and brand.
Responsibilities and Duties
Digital Design:
Expert knowledge of design principles including visual hierarchy, negative space, repetition, contrast, balance and alignment, proportion, typography and color theory.
Create and take ownership of designing engaging branded materials, including: Web Pages, Paid and Organic Social, Digital Banners and Email Marketing Campaigns.
Support the Art Director in the ideation and production process of video and photography shoots for Youtube, PR efforts, Pinterest, etc.
Work with analytics team to design and implement seasonal website updates and landing page experiences for marketing campaigns and conversion rate optimization
Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices within an ever-evolving digital marketing landscape
Project Management:
Keep project goals at the center of design work and make actionable steps to achieve these goals
Work well under tight deadlines, fast pace environment, and changing demands
Experience giving and receiving feedback, and flexibility in design approach and processes
Qualifications and Skills
Work Experience:
3+ years of experience in marketing, advertising and/or creative design roles
Expert in Digital Design with emphasis on Web Design and Email Campaigns
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (experience with Sketch a plus).
Experience in video editing, gif creation and animation is a plus
Ability to align with FLO vitamins’ visual brand identity and aesthetic
Strong portfolio of design work and extensive experience in digital advertising
Expertise in marketing platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest
Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent work experience

Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:
Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
Knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, basic Excel is a plus
Passion for e-commerce, consumer retail and / or digital marketing is a plus
