Remote — $15/hour (5-10 hours / week)
ilovecreatives is seeking a TA to help us organize, motivate, and be a friendly guide for the Video Creator ✹Course™ and our Digital ℛetreat student community (coming soon).
We're looking 👀 for an autodidact that can help us create a thriving community!

This role is for someone with experience in architecting digital communities, confident writing skills, reliable organizational skills, a process and detail-oriented work style, a pro-active communication style (let’s get to the point and minimize meetings), and of course, an internal drive to help people!
What You'll Do:
Community management, maintenance, and architecting space in our Discord for the Video Creator ✹Course™.
Program Digital Events like short film nights and panels. Really, the world is your oyster… we want to hear your plans!
Customer Support. At the end of the day we having paying students and while our goal is to guide and help people get to the answers, sometimes we need to go above and beyond. If someone ever said you’re a natural cheerleading detective… then you’ll love this!
Promotional Assets for events (you’ll have support)
Requirements:
Must have taken the Video Creator ✹Course™ (you’ll get it for free if you haven’t taken it)
Experience architecting spaces in Discord
Must LOVE video (even if you don’t feel you’re skills are quite there yet)
Incredible interpersonal skills: members of the team interface with moderators from all walks of life directly, and should have integrity, empathy, and understanding in working with them
In-depth knowledge of internet culture and trends
Organizational and file management skills. 📁 We need to be able to jump into whatever project you're working on and be able to find things easily. We use Notion!
Comfortable with little direction. ➡️ We want you to take it and go! While in the beginning there will be some training on our workflow, we're looking for someone that is confident and self-motivated.
OK working solo 🤗 You’ll get support, but this job is mostly you! Think of ilovecreatives as one big house — and wah! you get your own floor. Design as you wish, just mind the construction noise.
You 💖 Feedback. We work iteratively and believe in immediate feedback. You're someone that has a high EQ and implements feedback quickly or will communicate succinctly what is blocking you.
Experience with:
Developing healthy and vibrant communities on Discord
Project Management with Notion
Design (we use Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
(Bonus) Video Editing with Premiere Pro
(Bonus) Content creation geared towards education
Who this isn’t for:
And someone that is used to working somewhere they get a lot of support and structure. Think of us more like a collective of experienced freelancers that get things done. If you’ve never worked on your own, haven’t had experience managing a lot of tasks, and are not sure how to prioritize ideas — this probably isn’t for you.
However, if you thrive on independence and execution, care about democratizing education and building up the creative community… we would love to get to know you more!
