Los Angeles, CA / Remote
A little bit about Camber:
Have you ever been overwhelmed by the amount of research it takes to plan the perfect trip and just end up asking your friends for recs?
That’s why we’re building Camber, a new travel recommendations app that allows you to list out your favorite places by city, follow friends to see theirs, and view those recs on an all-inclusive map.
No more “where did I write that down?” No more haphazardly throwing together Google Docs and spreadsheets. No more bugging that friend who took that trip that one time.
We’re not just another itinerary planning app (there are plenty of those, we promise). Your friends want in on your hidden gems, which is the reason Camber is introducing a peer-to-peer element, a social exchange of the coolest places.
What if there was a platform that you felt proud to document and share your travel recs on while also being able to discover new spots to visit from your trusted network of friends? We want you to help build it with us.
Here’s a TikTok we made explaining the idea.
Does this sound like you?
We are looking for a seasoned Full-stack Developer to build out and manage our entire mobile app infrastructure.
We’re a team of two female founders. Therefore, a pioneering spirit and enthusiasm about the success and care of Camber’s community is necessary. As a founding team member, you will have the opportunity to add direct value to our technology and product strategy. If you have an appreciation for visual design and utility and also tend to be the person that your friends go to for recs, then we’d love to meet you.
Location: Los Angeles, open to remote
What you’d be responsible for:
Building an innovative product from the ground up
Collaborating on high-level decisions regarding product features and direction
Having authority and ownership of your day-to-day structure
What your resume would say:
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
Experience developing mobile applications
An analytical mind with appreciation for design
Did we just describe you to a T? Well then, we can’t wait to meet you. Email your resume to hello@camberapp.com and feel free to send a couple sentences about your favorite places to recommend to friends.
