NOTO is seeking a full time salary employee, organized, and passionate retail Store Manager for our Flagship Store located in Highland Park, CA. The ideal candidate is an experienced and ambitious self-starter who loves working with a small team and is deeply motivated by results. We are looking for someone with experience in and excitement around driving sales and building our community through sales strategy, merchandising, and event concepts directly related to a brick-and-mortar store.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The NOTO Store Manager is responsible for facilitating and supervising daily retail operations, driving foot traffic and sales through event planning, merchandising and strategy, and contributing to the upkeep of the store ensuring it is welcoming, clean and a representation of the NOTO brand. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Training and managing employees in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions.

  • Help develop and facilitate training of employees that maintains the brand voice, product education and productivity.

  • Strategize and implement solutions that improve foot traffic and reach and surpass sales goals all while maintaining brand voice and mission.

  • Excited to learn and share product knowledge about NOTO products and 3rd party vendor to customers

  • Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain

    contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.

  • Assist in account management for 3rd party vendors in a wholesale / consignment capacity.

  • Cultivate merchandising through consignment brands that reflect the message and identity of the NOTO brand.

  • Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.

  • Maintain and manage the NOTO refill station.

  • Own inventory reports and open to buy plans.

  • Develop and maintain a monthly calendar of events and promotions alongside the brand founder, Gloria Noto, to cultivate more foot traffic, awareness, sales, and community connection.

  • Proficient and experienced in Shopify, Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace with the ability identify and implement necessary apps or programs that will support and improve daily operations.

Hours and Benefits

  • This role is offered as a full time salary job at $50,000 annually. Daily hours of operation are 10:00AM – 6:00 PM, Tuesday – Friday with occasional weekend or after hours as needed to support events.

  • Health insurance, dental and vision insurance are included after 3 months of full-time employment

  • Two weeks paid vacation per year + 4O1k options

  • $250.00 quarterly NOTO product gratis
