Job Summary

The Senior Digital Designer is an essential part of the Creative Team working alongside Designers, Developers and Marketing Teams to support all E-Commerce, Marketing, and Brand goals. You will develop and execute a wide range of digital design materials (focus in Web & E-Commerce Design) that are thoughtful, conversion driven and eye-catching. You will design for A/B tests, Landing Pages, Web Elements, Paid Social, Digital Banners, Product Launches and various Marketing Campaigns.

O Positiv is looking for someone with a strong sense of design principles and a customer-first approach. As the Senior Digital Designer, you’re a natural leader to both people and processes - mentoring other designers and taking initiative on maintaining and improving processes. The Senior Digital Designer reports to the Creative Director and will work closely with O Positiv’s leadership team to further expand O Positiv’s impact on customers in the Health and Wellness space.

Responsibilities and Duties

Digital Design:

  • Design for: A/B tests, Landing Pages, Web Elements, Paid Ads, Digital Banners, Emails and various Marketing Campaigns.

  • UI/UX/Web Design Experience: you will lead the E-Commerce design funnel, designing concepts from start to finish with an understanding of how to best optimize designs for high conversion.

  • Have a clear understanding of Design Principles, UI/UX and make impactful design decisions to improve conversion rates and website performance.

  • Participate in higher-level strategic initiatives, and articulate concepts and designs to senior leadership.

  • Work collaboratively with the Creative, Dev and Senior Leadership Teams to design and implement seasonal website updates, landing page experiences, and marketing campaigns

  • Stay up to date on the latest trends, and best practices within an ever-evolving digital marketing landscape

Project Management & Leadership:

  • Be a self-starter, keep project goals at the center of design work and make actionable steps to achieve these goals. ​​

  • You are highly organized and thrive in the details. You will oversee all creative milestones throughout development phases.

  • Work well under tight deadlines, fast paced environment, and changing demands

Qualifications and Skills

Work Experience:

  • Expert knowledge of design principles including visual hierarchy, negative space, repetition, contrast, balance and alignment, proportion, typography and color theory.

  • Experienced Senior designer with 5+ years in E-Commerce/UI/UX Design

  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, and experience in Sketch

  • Ability to align with O Positiv’s visual brand identity and aesthetic

  • Strong portfolio of digital design work and extensive experience in digital advertising

  • Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent work experience

Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a plus

  • Passion for e-commerce, consumer retail and / or digital marketing is a plus

Hours and Compensation

  • Job Type: Full-time preferred

  • Pay based on prior experience

  • Position will be based out of Los Angeles, CA
