Stahl + Band seeks a well-rounded design assistant to join our team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual who’s interested in working in a dynamic work environment. You will be involved in a wide range of projects - from production of website and social media collateral to product/packaging design and assisting in our textile library. You’ll get to wear many hats working both digitally and hands-on. We’re looking for a designer who’s excited about furniture design and working collaboratively with a tight-knit team.

This position is paid and will be fully in person at our studio in Venice, California.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with brand Identity development.

  • Design social media collateral, marketing emails and advertising communications.

  • Website development and production of tear sheets and product pages.

  • Textile Library development and organization.

Requirements:

  • BFA, MFA, or equivalent degree in design-related field (or currently pursuing) or at least 1–2 years of experience working in a studio environment

  • High-level proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.)

  • Strong design skills, including typography, editorial, branding and research.

  • Product photography experience is a plus.

  • Motion graphics experience is a plus.

  • Marketing/Social Media experience is a plus.
