The Job:

Cloth & Flame seeks a contract / project-based copywriter to support the company and our clients across a variety of copy-related projects including but not limited to: website copy and case studies, sales and marketing assets, emails and social media posts.

The Copywriter will be responsible for the following responsibilities:

  • Help create and write for marketing materials, proposals, pitch decks, and additional collateral

  • Write case studies and blog posts

  • Write short, appropriate social media posts

  • Assist in publishing content on web pages and social media channels

  • Utilize a variety of writing styles depending on the type of project

  • Follow our brand guide

  • Monitor content success and progress

  • Collaborate with and incorporate input from our executive, marketing, and sales teams

  • Collaborate with graphic designers and create visually attractive pieces of content

  • Review and suggest improvements for content written by others (i.e. internal documents or communications)

  • Manage multiple projects and revisions while adhering to tight deadlines

  • Work effectively as a team player

Pluses if you have experience with:

  • Asana, Basecamp or a similar project management platform

  • Notion

  • WordPress

  • Canva

  • Adobe Creative Suite


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Copywriting and/or Brand Marketing

  • Impeccable writing, grammatical and organizational skills

  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive

  • Familiarity with style guides like Chicago, APA, etc

  • Proficient in Google Drive and/or Microsoft Office

  • Portfolio of writing samples
