Stept is an award-winning creative and production studio known for work that features real-life characters, celebrity athletes, and breathtaking visuals. Our progressive roster of directors represents the next generation of storytellers, working across sports, comedy, and documentary genres. Our growing team includes creative services, strategy, full production, and a post house including Visual Effects, CGI and Sound.

We are looking for an Associate Creative Director for the Stept Creative team – both art directors and copywriters will be considered, but the right person will be comfortable doing a bit of both. The right person will be a hybrid creative who can tell an amazing story, but match it with innovative and emotive visuals. Because we toe the line between creative & production, the ideal person has a solid agency background (4-5 years) but also an understanding of the production side of the business. A plus if she/he/they also is into photo, video, editing, after effects, etc. This role will be a key addition to our Creative team, working closely with our Head of Creative/ECD and the entire studio across creative, production, and post teams.

ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing, presenting, and creating new concepts & campaigns for brands

  • Assist the ECD and become the the lead creative for brands

  • Work closely with directors, producers, editors, and artists to concept and execute work

  • Provide guidance to junior creatives

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 4-5 years creative agency experience & portfolio of work

  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within the Adobe Creative Suite if needed

  • Ability to manage and work independently, under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects

  • Diverse portfolio including 360 campaigns demonstrating innovative thinking

  • Desire to create work with purpose with great people
