Understanding Your Creativity Preferences

There are a few different camps on creativity theory: One group holds that you should wait for the muse to force its way out of you in its own time. Others hold that creativity is a process and involves discipline and working/iteration to get it flowing and that it grows and strengthens over time and with effort.
