Finding Inspo

Here’s a peek into how I go about researching and finding design inspiration.

I generally give myself about an hour to go down the rabbit holes of the internet before I start working on style tiles, homepage comps, or a custom site. I’m using Zight (previously CloudApp) to take screenshots and make GIFs!

One thing to remember, you can get inspo from any industry. Let’s say the product you are trying to build for is in the beauty industry. That doesn’t mean you can only look at beauty websites. Think about the vibe you’re trying to present to the user. If it’s a luxury vibe, perhaps you can find inspo from furniture or jewelry. The internet is your oyster!
