I studied photography at university but was looking to develop a skill that I could use remotely, so as not to be limited to finding clients in a small town. Plus, Puno's charisma and the gamification of the Squarespace Design Course made me feel confident that it was something I would see through.
I'm someone who can reimagine a concept over and over again. If something isn't working, I can let it become something new entirely, so the Inspo Site Recreation was so challenging for me. Being restricted to a website design that already exists, instead of evolving in different directions without limitation, really tested my patience and stamina. It felt great to get through to the other side.
It was so well-executed, engaging, and fun. I would buy another ilovecreative's course just for the hell of it, because I know i would get a lot out of it and want to finish.
Do it. I found it was too steep of a learning curve for me to pick at day by day, so I went to a cabin with my friend and we both focused really hard on our crafts. It took me a couple years to actually finish it, because I only really worked on it when I managed to have time off.
