I took the Creative Copywriter Course. I've always wanted to write professionally, but my career took a series of unexpected turns that left me working in an unrelated (and not especially fulfilling) line of work. I was let go from my job in 2023 and was fortunate enough to be in a position to revisit my goals. When I found ilovecreatives I instantly felt connected to the content described in the course and its self-paced approach to learning was exactly what I was looking for.
When I started to receive constructive and positive feedback from my teachers it was incredibly validating and made me think "wow, I think I can actually do this!". Once I got that confidence I was surprised how inspired and motivated I was to keep going.
Developing writing for a consistent fictional client was really fun and helped to give a lot of structure to the exercises in the course. I've actually been able to structure a portfolio, land clients, and fulfill briefs thanks to the Creative Copywriting Course.
Even though you can take your time and work at your own pace, I highly recommend trying to dedicate a few hours a week consistently to working through the content. Things are so much easier to absorb and you'll get into more of a flow when it comes to completing assignments.
