I took the Shopify Course because I wanted to further develop my developer skills and start working on online shops. I had basic education in HTML, CSS and JavaScript before starting the course and already did several client projects with our Creative Agency Pajurama Kreativagentur and was so happy to work as a web designer and developer. As soon as the first online shop inquiries popped up, I was looking for good education on Shopify and started with some Skillshare courses, but as soon as I saw the ilovecreatives Shopify Course I knew immediately that I want to take it since it is also focused on Design, which is really important to our creative agency.

For me the whole course was amazing. There was no particular part where I learned a lot about myself but the whole course was completely eye-opening regarding Shopify and working as a Web Developer in general. With the knowledge that I brought from before it was amazing to flow through the course and get to know the whole Shopify Engine and completely understand how it works. All these Skillshare courses were good and gave me some knowledge but the ilovecreatives Shopify course tied it all together so smoothly. It really hammered it all home in a completely different and welcoming way, which also of course is due to the fact that Megumi is a great teacher and is was so cool to learn from here.

I literally loved everything. From the amazing video lessons with funny meme's and cool music and design to the notion workbook that really helps and of course the incredible support from Megumi and Yewande in Discord the whole course is a absolutely perfect and 100% worth it to start your career as a Shopify Developer.

If you want to fulfil your dreams of working from wherever you can as a web developer and are interested in online shops I think this is the perfect course to not only get started but also get pretty far. It is perfect to understand Shopify and jumpstart your motivation to develop also several other skills outside of this course. I quickly learned in Web Development that you basically never ever can't stop learning and improving your skillset and this course it definitely the one for developing your Shopify Developer Skill.

Confidence builds over time and over several projects that one does and Megumi really brought that point home also in a few lessons in the course that you have to start somewhere and basically just go, just go for it and chase your dreams. Don't wait. It is f***ing scary I know, I've been there but looking back over the last 4 years of building our creative agency I don't regret one single day. There were mistakes that seemed big in the moment but when you look back you can just smile and be grateful for where you're at. And that's only because you started doing it. So for me over the last year while taking this course and right after that starting a huge shopify store for a beverage brand in Zurich Switzerland my confidence made a huge leap.
