I took the 3D Blender Course to add another creative practice to my belt, to be able to pitch murals more realistically, and to further develop my creativity. Through the entire thing I was surprised at how fast I was learning. I haven't had the best track record with studying but I found Blender super intuitive and easy to navigate. It was really fun and aesthetically pleasing. I enjoyed every section!
Alex does an amazing job explaining everything in a way that is fun and engaging and because everything is broken down in sections the amount of information doesn't feel overwhelming. Also he is really funny and throughout the course he has such a super friendly warm vibe.
This whole course helped me a lot about understanding the basics of blender in the most structural content ever plus it was never boring cause you get cool visuals and water breaks (gotta keep the hydration 🌊) Alex break down the course bit by bit and you get cookies after each lessons hehe 🍪 In addition to this whole course, you get a package of cheat sheets and fun community to engage with and be inspired by each other's work! ⭐️
The course not only gave me technical skills for 3D but also really encouraged me to play around with an aesthetic that felt true to me. The level of detail that Alex condenses down in a fun teaching style blew my mind. He really helps you understand what you are doing, rather than mindlessly clicking buttons.
The best thing this course gave me was confidence. I'm a Graphic Designer and for 5 or more years I saw 3D Design as something super hard and I felt like only exceptionally talented and dedicated people can do it, however this course showed me that there's nothing to be afraid of, on the contrary - it's supposed to be super exciting. The confidence of playing around with the materials is everything. It's not just about the tutorials, there are a bunch of tutorials out there - it's more about an amazing environment where in every detail you can see that people thought this through - somebody worked very hard to make everything work so comfortably for you. You can't getaway from the feeling that it's not just a course, it's a handful of super comfortable toolboxes which you can use however you prefer.
