My favorite thing about the course was the tone. It really felt like I was learning a lot but in such a playful way. That made it so easy to absorb the material and want to jump into the videos / homework after doing a 8 hours at a day job.

My favorite thing about the course is the hands on approach that allows me to learn by creating and experimenting. If you're thinking about taking the course, I would say go for it. Stay committed, practice often, and don't compare yourself to others. Growth comes from showing up and applying what you learn.

The Graphic Design Course felt like an all-in-one wonderland: an online community and cohort of fellow students, a truly robust curriculum, and so many resources on how to revamp my entire process. The recruiter call and portfolio review process has been everything! Knowing what to share in a portfolio, what details recruiters are looking for, and how to better tell the story of each project in an efficient and engaging way is so instrumental. I now have a portfolio I'm proud of and a clearer idea of how to position myself when sharing my work.

The course was super comprehensive and covered topics in a clear, organized sequence that was easy to understand. I started from having absolutely no clue how to tackle a graphic design project, to having my portfolio website up and running — with projects I worked on!

My advice for someone thinking about taking the course is be authentic and confident in your own work. Don’t compare yourself to others, everyone has their own strengths and you have yours. Always think of the positives and don’t let anything drag you down from pursuing the very best version of yourself. Most of all, enjoy the course and be your true creative self!

I learned a lot about myself by the end of Section 2 (Design Process); the assignments taught me a lot about designing with intention, and through trial & error and a lot of practice, I actually learned a lot about how I can make the process easier and smoother for myself the next time around!

The resources and exercises are really current and use inspiring examples - this was particularly helpful for my personal project work, as I felt able to get my ideas to a 'launch-ready' state myself. The monthly live calls and discord support is really good and very responsive when people have questions - I learn a lot from simply reading the feedback given to other students on their work.

My favorite thing about the course is having a design portfolio! The instructors are great at helping you tidy your projects to get them in a portfolio worthy place.I already landed a freelance project with a pretty cool brand because I reached out and shared the portfolio I made in this course.
