With a vocal quality that is reminiscent of Ed Sheeran, Daniel John creates a relaxed and romantic atmosphere with his soulful, smooth voice accompanying his acoustic guitar.
Daniel spent the last few years working as a recording artist in Los Angeles California, and is now available for bookings in Auckland.
With a setlist featuring songs from Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz, Vance Joy, James Arthur and Maroon 5, Daniel infuses his own easy-listening sound and style into some of the biggest pop hits from the 90s, 00s and 10s.
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
I fell in love with the sound of acoustic guitar at age 17, and that was it - I knew music was going to be my life from that point forward.
Q What are you working on right now?
I'm currently working on new songs as well as actively performing at events around New Zealand

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I wish I could focus on music 100%. When not performing, I am a tennis coach.

COVID has made things very difficult for people in my industry.

Just to be fearless with pursuing your dreams - the world is waiting for people with big dreams, but most people never even try.
