Q What do you do?

I help women, creatives and entrepreneurs attract their dream clients through thoughtful visual experiences.

I love crafting authentic brand identities and beautiful website designs, all while coaching clients through their own unique creative process. I also specialize in film photography and art direction.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

My mom was one of the few women in tech in the 90’s, so I was an early adopter of all things digital - and by the time Myspace came around in middle school, I was already custom coding profiles for myself and all my friends! So making the shift to web design felt totally organic. I took my first web design class early in high school, as well as my first film photography class. Watching my photos slowly appear in the darkroom was so magical! I eventually got my first DSLR and couldn’t put it down.

In college, I learned that I’m that unique bridge between the abstract and technical worlds. I studied in a specialized marketing program at a variety of advertising agencies in Silicon Beach like 72andSunny, Huge, 180 LA and more before landing a Marketing Design Specialist role at Los Angeles’ leading entertainment company. During my time there, I worked on a variety of design projects for L.A. LIVE, Coachella, MADE LA and countless other venues, music festivals and events. I developed dynamic websites, successful pitch presentations, and led a team of creatives before ultimately realizing the 9-5 grind and Los Angeles commute weren’t for me.

Now through years of experience directing hundreds of photo shoots and designing countless websites, I’ve learned how to create work that genuinely helps my clients find success. I've also come into my photography style by exploring beauty in a manner that is both delicate and empowered, and I also love learning more about code to enhance stunning website features. It took a lot of inner curiosity and conviction to follow this path because I didn’t grow up believing art could be a career. I practiced often, built a genuine community, put trust in my vision - and here I am! I couldn’t be more grateful.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

I listen. I’m down to Earth. I approach my work holistically, and I care about quality. I’m naturally independent, and can take an idea from the initial strategy all the way through creative execution on my own. Creatives are so used to specializing that they can often lose sight of the bigger picture. I find power in being able to understand many moving parts and how they all fit together. Having a background in photography has also given me a keen eye for curating moodboards specific to a particular project.

Q What are you working on right now?

Many exciting projects are in the works! Right now I'm focused on launching my eco-friendly creative studio and doing brand identity design for a soil microbiology business. I also help manage a campground in Southern Oregon part-time and spend my spring and early summers serving Spirit Weavers Gathering, a community of 1,400 women who come together in June each year to share skills with each other.

Q What’s your style?

My style is always ebbing and flowing. Everything I create is imbued with an organic, playful energy while still providing clean, professional deliverables to my clients. I love designs that are simple and timeless - designs that “breathe”. When photographing people, I try to showcase intimacy and vulnerability. My photos tend to be on the softer side - warm, alive and inspired by nature. My website is a good representation of these styles, although the project that represents me best is always the one I am currently working on.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

I wish I had more time to create with my hands - especially ceramics. It’s also a dream of mine to produce music and DJ parties!

Q What is frustrating you right now?

Sometimes I’m too much of a “yes” person and get overwhelmed. But other times that tendency leads me to pursue unique opportunities. Boundaries are such tricky lil' things!

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

I'm currently developing a database full of sustainable brands I'd love to partner with in the future. I'd appreciate having someone to help me research marketing contacts for each brand, and provide me with an excel sheet of their emails so I can reach out.

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

You’re worthy. Practice taking better care of yourself. Trust your gut, and while we're on the topic... eat more fermented foods. Heal that microbiome.

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

I would love to chat with a female entrepreneur who has scaled her business to six or seven figures and only works 20-30 hours a week. That’s the kind of magic I need in my life! I’d ask her about passive income, breaking down industry barriers, and growing a creative team.

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

I'm looking for *paid* opportunities in these three areas:

1. One-hour Brand Strategy Sessions: Need a little professional help putting down roots for your business? I’m interested in growing with you from the ground up. We can refine your mission, vision, target audience and marketing strategies.

2. Product & Lifestyle Photography: I enjoy working on new product launches and editorials. I would love to see my work in more magazines and on the homepage of websites! I’d also like to work out some monthly retainers for creating social media content.

3. Custom Website Designs: From smaller hourly projects to full redesigns, I’m here to help you launch and maintain your dream business. Need some visual direction? You’ve got it. Having trouble organizing all your thoughts? I’m on it! Need someone with HTML & CSS knowledge to bring your visions to life? I’m your girl! I’m here to ensure your brand is presenting itself in the strongest way possible. I specialize in Squarespace, but am open to other platforms too.

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

I’d love to collaborate with people who share similar values and aesthetics. This could include projects in fashion, outdoor lifestyle, wellness, plant-based food + beverage, women’s empowerment, art and creative entrepreneurship, and so much more. I particularly enjoy working with self-starters who are eager to learn and invest in their own personal growth. It feels amazing when clients and I are equally excited to work with each other!

Some dream projects include:

  • Branding a flower/botanical shop or florist

  • Working on album artwork for a talented musician!

  • Reaching new audiences for a local farm-to-table event

  • Designing visual identity for an organic cannabis company

  • Developing an online course for a sexual wellness educator
