Q What do you do?
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
Get laid off from 3 prior experiential marketing agencies. Kidding, sorta, not really. The pandemic layoff was my 3rd layoff in 3 years in the events world, so as I joined the ranks of millions being laid off on fateful Friday afternoons in March 2020, I only gave myself the weekend to be sad about it. Come Monday, I dove headfirst into YouTube University to see what pivots I could make using my current skills or what digital skills I could quickly learn to leverage my next gig. Having recently done events with social media components, I made up my mind pretty quickly that social media was my future. I invested in my education beyond YouTube, contacted every single person I knew to offer them my shiny new skills, got my first “yes,” and the rest is history!
Q How do you stand out in your field?
We’re a Latinx and womxn-run remote agency with a global team of diverse Millennial and Gen Z social experts that brings a wealth of talent to the table. We get your target audience because we are your target audience!

Q What are you working on right now?
I’m always working on keeping my content & social media knowledge fresh and continue to uplevel our quality of work! I’m also always looking for our next opportunity to help a brand take their content to the next level.
I am also working on a new biz (bc I’m a masochist, clearly!) - an adventure tour company in Puerto Rico called GeoAventuras PR!
Q What’s your style?
We work with diverse brands in terms of branding, tone of voice and overall content style. You can take a peek at our portfolio.
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
We love and have worked with a ton of personal brands and creator educators that sell digital products. We’d love to work with more CPG and disruptor brands that are ballsy and unapologetic about going against the status quo in their category.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
I girlbossed too hard and have neglected social activities and networking, which is vital for biz! Like IRL networking, it’s on my to-do list and maybe I'll get around to it this year. Pray for me!
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
Hands down - meal prep service, 100%! Feeding myself is the bane of my existence. My partner does a lot of cooking for me and I'm so thankful for that, but if not, I'm prone to skipping meals, which obviously isn't the move for my mental or physical health.
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
Remember how I got laid off 3 times? Well, I think maybe after the second layoff. I would tell myself to start taking the steps to build my businesses. I would tell my younger self that I could do it and that I didn't have to rely on a paycheck from someone else for safety. Still, I feel like everything happened in perfect timing! I'm definitely motivated by the "sink or swim" philosophy- knowing that if I don't hustle, I might not turn a profit definitely kept me going in the early days of my business!
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
I've always thought it would be so cool to work with a psychologist that leverages astrology or something similar to learn more about myself! I think how we operate - and all our interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships - says a lot about how we function as business owners and professionals. Improving my self awareness has been one of the most helpful things I've ever taken on in my personal (and professional!) life.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
We’re looking for opportunities to create social-first content strategies for disruptor brands. We'd love to partner with brands that know the value of social in their marketing funnel and are ready to invest.
