Q What do you do?

I make graphics move—I create (design, illustrate, sculpt) digital assets and add the magical element of motion in order to tell a story, elevate a design to the next level, or simply make things more visually interesting!

I use a variety of animation techniques and I'm always experimenting to find what works best for the story I'm trying to tell.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

I began my career by working as a graphic designer, but I was always drawn to motion and animation. During the pandemic, I had a little extra free time so I began experimenting more with creating my own personal projects and learning new software and motion techniques. Those personal projects turned into my first animation portfolio, which turned into my first freelance gigs, and things have continued from there! Although graphic design isn't my primary field anymore, I still bring a design sense and skill set to all of my work.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

I stand out due to my background in design, my proficiency with a wide variety of software, and my willingness to continue exploring and experimenting! I don't believe in "one-size-fits-all" design solutions, and I'm always doing my best to make work that visually reflects its purpose. I strive for visual cohesion and intentionality in my work—I strongly believe care and attention to detail can elevate a project from adequate to art.

Q What are you working on right now?

Currently working on a visualizer, but I like to keep most of my work under wraps until it's out :)

Q What’s your style?

My style and perspective is probably best captured in my Showreel!

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

I sometimes get to take on a creative director role on projects I'm hired for, and I think that's something I want to lean into and explore more in the coming year.
I also particularly love working on projects for the music industry—music videos, lyric videos, visualizers, Spotify canvases, etc.

Q What is frustrating you right now?

Just general project management! I've recently been revamping my system to reduce friction and streamline small tasks.

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

A multitude of little administrative tasks.

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

I wish I could have told my high school self that a creative career wasn't an unrealistic dream! Creatives do real and valued work.

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

Behavioral psychology

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

A wide variety! Always looking for projects that challenge me or that align with my skills. Bonus points if it's for a good cause :)

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

I love making work for musicians and/or the music industry—it's a particular passion of mine. Beyond that, I like working with clients who are looking to push boundaries and think outside the box.

Q What is your rate?

Prices for animation can vary widely depending on the complexity and scope of the project, as well as the turnaround time. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have a project in mind and I can give you an estimate on price!

Q How should someone approach you about working together?
