Q What do you do?

I organize, coordinate, and align all the people and parts involved to create physical products, e-commerce websites, and memorable experiences.

I also freelance as a creative consultant for primarily direct-to-consumer companies, building out curated product assortments and concepts for future collections.

My penchant for entertaining, thoughtful gifting and interior styling keeps my creative side active. Frankly, I've always got my hand in something that produces a beautiful product or experience.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

After discovering that I'm truly an equally left and right-brained person, I've always held roles at the intersection of logistics and design and haven't strayed away from that. Knowing my strengths and being eager to help and learn from others has built meaningful relationships for me in and outside the office. I wouldn't be able to freelance now without these personal and professional bonds.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

Be genuine, gracious and communicative—it goes a long way, and you'd be surprised at how many people aren't!

Q What are you working on right now?

I have a few freelance clients including Whiled which I exercise my physical product development chops. I also curate a collection called The Every Edit at Snowe and consult on new product development.

Q What’s your style?

Though my taste and curiosity in trends changes as the seasons, my overall style is timeless, effortless and a balance of modern and classic. I gravitate toward things that will last a long time, and ascribe to the lifestyle of buying fewer, better things.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

I'd love to educate myself more on design history, and perhaps finally learn a programming language or something that will keep me tapped into the digital world.

Q What is frustrating you right now?

Supply chain issues are wreaking havoc on every business I know!

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

Keep my books in order for quarterly filing and, well, I probably need to just hire an accountant and a financial planner.

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

I wish I could've told myself to not be so scared of what other people think, of moving across the country, and that all of it would pay off and be so worthwhile in the end.

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

I'd love to learn about the impacts of product materials on the environment—what's seen as the future, and what we can do to mitigate where we are.

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

A product development consultant or creative project manager freelance or contract role at a small business or DTC company.

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

My ideal client would be based in New York (so I have an excuse to come visit) and a growing eco-conscious business that's in the home, lifestyle, design or fashion category.

Q: What is your rate?

I'm open to working on retainer for a specific scope/term or hourly depending on the project. Reach out if you'd like to talk shop!

Q How should someone approach you about working together?

Shoot me an email with your project scope, budget, and where you're located.

Q Who is a creative you admire?

Alex Stikeleather
Miguel Yatco
Matthew Tsang
Rebecca Zhou

Q Oh! and… how do you stay creative?

Traveling (even locally) is the best inspiration for me, especially paired with a great playlist.
