Q What do you do?

I am an artist who captures timelessness and nostalgia in the form of photos.

I tell stories and capture fleeting moments with both film and digital photography.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

I always tried to be creative growing up. I grew up in a home with a film editor for a father. My mother dabbled in traditional arts, and my grandmother was a working photographer as well. I wandered through my childhood and early teenage years using a variety of different cameras to create short-form videos and films. This grew as I got older until I fell more in love with still imagery. While I was in high school I dedicated more and more time to taking photos until I decided to take the next step and make it a full-time commitment while I was in my first year of college.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

I believe I have an inherent eye for captivating and intriguing visual art. I've worked hard to maximize my creative vision and stay inspired in various ways to continue to create photos that last. I love every step of the process, from the initial photo direction and planning to the execution, to the post-processing work and all the obstacles and problem-solving that can arise within each step of the process.

Q What are you working on right now?

At the moment I am a fully freelance photographer and creative. I work with a variety of ongoing clients but I am very open to collaborating more with like-minded individuals and companies that will trust me with executing their vision. I am constantly working on both personal photo projects as well as ongoing client work.

Q What’s your style?

I am very drawn to nostalgic, cinematic and aesthetic moments. I love trying to capture a specific feeling or emotion in a photo. I love creating a vague story that leaves it up to the viewer to fill in the blanks from their personal experiences and emotions.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

I'd love to have more freedom with creative direction. I often creatively direct all my personal ideas but would love to continue to do this on a larger scale with a team of creatives.

Q What is frustrating you right now?

I am confident in my abilities and my work but I feel like I sometimes have trouble getting my foot in the door of places that can give me a bigger platform and opportunity.

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

I am looking for serious clients and creative friends that want to make awesome work together. I am looking for contract and freelance opportunities to photograph a variety of different subjects and campaigns. I am also very interested in representation that can help me achieve my goals.

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

I love working with clients who think outside the box, are passionate about what we are creating, and will do anything to achieve the final outcome desired.

Q What is your rate?

I typically charge $100/hour and a $900 day rate. I'm open to being flexible depending on the job at hand!

Q How should someone approach you about working together?

Email, DM me on twitter or Instagram, find my number somehow - ANYTHING. I want to work with you if you have an idea and any sort of plan that needs execution!

Q Oh! and… how do you stay creative?

Take life a little less seriously, and stay adventurous!
