Q What do you do?

I manage projects, teams, and systems for online service providers so they can get their weekends back, focus on their genius and scale their impact.

When it comes to projects, there are so many things that we do as business owners that could be executed much smoother with a simple project plan! I often feel like, as humans, we complicate things A LOT but I always want to be the person on the team asking, “How can we make this simpler? How can this be easier?”

The projects that I take care of include hiring a new team member (even if it’s your first hire as a team of one!), launching a blog, social media channel, course or membership for your community or even setting up your first project management tool.

If you have a team, I help to coordinate communication by organizing and hosting meetings as well as training new members to foster a healthy team culture.

Systems are my happy place 🥰 I’m a workflow nerd who gets really excited about creating systems for any business process: curriculum tracking, testimonial tracking, hiring or lead generation. SOPs make my heart sing!

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

I started off in medicine and worked as a doctor for about 3 years until I built up the courage to leave and find fulfilling work. I then worked as a freelance Notion & productivity expert before becoming a certified digital business manager.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

Besides having a unique background, I think my real superpowers are resourcefulness and being relentless when it comes to problem solving.

Q What are you working on right now?

It's October 2024, and I've just completed my training as a digital business manager. Transitioning to a new skillset is an exciting challenge because I know I'll excel in this role, but I don't have the testimonials to prove it yet. Currently, I'm focused on preparing for initial consultations with potential clients and ensuring that my own business processes are in place.

Q What’s your style?

As a business manager, my work primarily happens behind the scenes, but my style is represented through my attention to detail and the systems I implement. These systems are refined, efficient, and user-friendly. I ensure that the process feels intuitive for my clients, so that it’s functional without sacrificing ease of use.

I think my portfolio represents that perspective.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

I spent so many years in medicine sharpening the skills for that industry and since I left, I got the freedom to focus on the skills that I knew would light me up. If I had to choose one, it would be writing. I know I have at least one book in me during this lifetime and it’s a skill that I enjoy refining.

Q What is frustrating you right now?

I want to say it’s frustrating seeing so many job applications that require 3+ years of experience but, I get it. It’s super easy to get burned by people online and it’s a nerve-wracking experience to trust someone that you’ve never met in person into your life and business. So yes, it’s frustrating but it just means that I need to do the work of building genuine connections and sharing myself authentically both on and offline.

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

Business marketing and copywriting - bring me new ideas, expand on my own ideas, write in my tone and voice, create an editorial calendar, schedule all of the posts. Marketing takes up so much time, it’s definitely something that I need help with that I’m sure is worth much more than a $20/hour investment.

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

x

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

This is a tough question because we have access to so much expert advice nowadays - from books to courses and podcast interviews with experts, there’s too much expert advice to consume. What I need to do is execute quickly and frequently; and not be afraid of learning from the failures that come along the way.

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

I want to work with consultants, coaches, designers, agency owners, social media and podcast managers who are looking for a right hand woman to take care of business projects, team communication/outsourcing and systems implementation.

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

Right now, my dream client is an online service provider with a clear vision for their business goals over the next 3–6 months. They're ready to delegate projects, team management, and systems implementation. They value transparent communication and are excited about the potential for growth that comes with having a dedicated manager on their team.

Q: What is your rate?

As of October 2024, my hourly rate ranges from USD $30 - $40. My monthly retainer rates are: 10 hours per month - USD $300.00 25 hours per month - USD $750.00 40 hours per month - USD $1200.00
