Q What do you do?
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
As a young teenager, my fascination with the world of visual storytelling was ignited. From pencil drawings to paintings and architecture, I found myself constantly drawn to the art of creating compelling narratives through visuals. However, my curiosity didn't stop there. I've always been intrigued by the intricate workings of the human mind, particularly its cognitive and behavioral functions. This innate interest in psychology, coupled with my creative thinking and problem-solving skills, has shaped my journey to where I am today.
As the world was forced to adapt to the challenges brought on by the pandemic, I saw an opportunity to expand my skillset. With determination and dedication, I delved into the principles of design, devouring books and courses while exchanging ideas with industry experts. Simultaneously, I was honing my skills as a freelance designer, relentlessly pushing past any obstacles that came my way. Looking back, the past year has been a transformative and invaluable chapter in both my professional and personal growth.
Through my passion for visual storytelling, my love for psychology, and my commitment to continuous learning and development, I have been able to carve a unique path for myself. I am excited to see where my journey takes me next and am eager to continue exploring the intersection between creativity, psychology, and design.
Q How do you stand out in your field?
A successful collaboration with my clients is the cornerstone of my work. From the very beginning of a project to its completion, I make sure that my clients understand that we are in this together. This creates a sense of investment, inspiration, and value for them.
Rather than simply being hired to create something, I strive to establish a genuine relationship with my clients. By doing so, we can work hand-in-hand and ensure that we are always on the same page throughout the entire process. It's not just about the end product; it's about the journey that we take together.
My approach is not simply transactional, but rather relational. By building a true connection with my clients, I am able to understand their needs and desires on a deeper level, and deliver a final product that truly reflects their vision. This level of collaboration sets me apart in my field and has allowed me to build a strong reputation as a designer who goes above and beyond for their clients.
Ultimately, I believe that this collaborative approach is what allows me to create work that not only meets but exceeds my clients' expectations. It's what drives me to push myself to always do better and what keeps my clients coming back time and time again.
Q What are you working on right now?
I’m working on a variety of exciting projects, both for clients and on a personal level. From brand identity and strategy to signage and web design, I'm bringing my creative expertise to a range of different endeavors. But that's not all! I'm also diving headfirst into designing and developing apps, CRMs, and a host of other innovative products.
At the end of the day, I like to think of myself as a creative innovator with a passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Whether I'm tackling digital or physical problems, I relish the chance to think outside the box and come up with unconventional solutions. My big aspirations and insatiable curiosity fuel my drive to bring cutting-edge tech and design to everything I do.
Q What’s your style?
My design style is all about minimalism and modernity, with a bold and unique twist. I love working with typography and other visual elements to craft brands that are both memorable and visually striking. Some of my favorite projects include the branding and website work I've done for Aston and Paradox, which truly showcase my design sensibility.
That being said, I'm also a versatile and adaptable designer who can tailor my approach to fit the needs of each individual project. Whether I'm working with a large corporation or a small startup, I'm committed to delivering top-notch results that exceed expectations.
Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I would love to focus more on branding and visual development. This is where my passion truly lies, and I thrive on the challenge of building powerful, memorable brands from the ground up.
For me, there's nothing quite like the rush of working closely with clients to create something truly special. I'm a relationship builder at heart, and I love nothing more than getting to know my clients and working with them every step of the way. Whether it's developing a new logo, crafting a unique visual identity, or dreaming up a full-blown brand strategy, I'm all in.
Q What is frustrating you right now?
Entrepreneurship is a wild ride, with plenty of ups and downs and no guarantees about what the future holds. But despite all of the uncertainty, one thing is clear: I absolutely love what I do.
Sure, there are times when things get tough and the next paycheck feels far away. But no matter what obstacles I face, I'm committed to pushing forward and making things happen. That means tackling the tough stuff head-on and staying focused on what really matters.
Of course, there are always tasks that end up on the bottom of the to-do list. But even when things get overwhelming, I never lose sight of my passion and my drive to succeed. So while entrepreneurship may be tough, it's also incredibly rewarding - and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
Lead generation and design assistance
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
To give myself some credit and to TRUST the process, and to not be so hard on myself when things don’t workout as expected.
Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?
I would absolutely love to talk to someone in the finance world. Financial literacy is becoming more and more important and knowing how to handle, save, and invest money Is key to long term financial freedom and security.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
I am always on the lookout for exciting new projects and opportunities that allow me to showcase my skills in branding, visual development, and web design.
What really excites me are collaborations with corporate companies and funded startups - those that are driven by innovation and looking to make a big impact in their industry. These are the types of projects where I can really flex my creative muscles and help my clients enhance their purpose and value.
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
My ideal client is someone who is passionate about their brand's impact and legacy, and is open to exploring new creative directions. I thrive in situations where I can bring my vision and expertise to the table to help solve problems and contribute to the growth of a company.
One of my favorite experiences was working with Aston, a brand that allowed me to showcase my skills in branding and visual development. The collaboration was positive and successful because the team valued my input and allowed me to fully express my creative ideas.
