WHAT STEPS DID YOU TAKE TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
I was working as a lead generation specialist for a clothing manufacturer and learned some basic coding to build them a website. When I noticed how well their clients responded to this new online identity I’d created for them, I decided to start working with other local brands and businesses and found that I’m really passionate about helping others bring their visions to life, both online and offline.
How do you stand out in your field?
My experience leading marketing teams in so many different industries really lends a hand on the projects that I’m lucky enough to have other creatives supporting me.
WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
I’m currently working on scaling…
I have a few personal projects that I’ve been lucky enough to have gotten some funding for, and I’m excited to say I’m teaching people to take on some of the crazy time consuming tasks it takes to run a business.
WHAT'S YOUR STYLE/PERSPECTIVE/TASTE? DO YOU HAVE A PROJECT THAT REPRESENTS THIS?
I feel like my style and taste is constantly changing and evolving. Right now I feel like my perspective is best represented by my Pinterest feed.
WE ARE ALL SLASHIES WITH MULTIPLE SKILLS, WHICH ONE DO YOU WISH YOU COULD DO MORE OFTEN?
I wish I had more time to make videos that have the substance to be called films.
WHAT IS FRUSTRATING YOU RIGHT NOW?
L.A. traffic.
IF YOU COULD HIRE SOMEONE FOR $20/HR, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE THEM DO TO MAKE YOUR DAY EASIER?
I’d probably have them help me grocery shop. Eating healthy is tough, and keeping the panty stocked is the first step, and I am notorious for bringing home more than a few bag of chips.
LET'S BRING OUT THE TIME MACHINE. WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU COULD HAVE TOLD YOURSELF, WHEN, AND WHY?
I broke my ankle after getting hit by a vehicle on a skate trip for a longboard company I worked for at the time, and ended up with 13 screws and 3 plates in my right leg.
It’d be pretty cool to not have that hunk of metal holding me back.
IF YOU COULD TALK TO AN EXPERT TO GAIN MORE INSIGHT ON SOMETHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE ABOUT?
Legal and financial advice would probably be the most beneficial; someone to help me decide which of my many ideas are feasible and realistic.
WHAT KIND OF OPPORTUNITIES/PROJECTS ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
I am currently accepting new clients looking for help with creative direction and project management. I love helping people create things in real life, and online. online brand identity is my specialty, but I love talking to people about new opportunities and solving problems. Who is a creative that has helped you elevate your work?
Working with local Denver artist Jaime Molina really showed me the value of hard work and the importance of persistence.
