Q What do you do?
“I’m a multidisciplinary brand designer - which basically means, I help brands be their best selves and look good doing it.”
I start off by creating a brand identity (think logos, color and taglines, ethos) and then move on to extensions of the identity (like packaging, web, print, and environmental).
Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
When I was in college, I worked as a residence hall desk assistant. We were allowed to do anything while we worked so I took the opportunity to learn web development. That led me to falling in love with graphic design, switching majors, and switching schools. I freelanced my way through school and have been freelancing ever since.
Q How do you stand out in your field?

Q What are you working on right now?
A lot of branding and packaging and some hush hush personal projects.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?
I’d love to work on more food and beverage projects!
Q What is frustrating you right now?
Updating my portfolio and website! I've got a lot of fun work I need to share, but I just haven't been able to do it yet.
Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?
All the admin work! I'd definitely rather be creating instead of prepping contracts.
Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?
I would take that time machine, go back to my college years, and tell my younger self to spend as much time on my design instagram as possible before the algorithm changes and before hashtags become obsolete. It was so much easier back then.
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
Current Bucket List: book store, candles, bed and breakfast, tea

Sarah Beth Morgan. She’s an illustrator and animation director with a very cool style. Her use of color and texture is *chef’s kiss*.
