Q What do you do?
“Hello! I’m Yewande (pronounced YAY!-JUAN-DAY) and I am the Founder of SHADOWNUT Web Studio”
I spend the majority of my time connecting with creative entrepreneurs and providing solutions to whatever challenge they may have. My goal is to create digital experiences that both delight and convert your audience into loyal subscribers and customers. I LOVE projects of all shapes and sizes ranging from simplifying your site navigation or completely reimaging your e-commerce experience.
Q How do you stand out in your field?

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?
Since 2012, I have led web development projects of all shapes and sizes but in a corporate setting. During the Great Resignation of 2021, I decided to jump ship and turn my attention away from corporate and towards supporting creative entrepreneurs.
I chose to learn Squarespace because it is built for the creative entrepreneur and is the most user-friendly content management system out there. The best decision I ever made was enrolling in the Squarespace Design Course in MAR 2021. Ever since, I’ve expanded my skillset to include web design and development on Squarespace, Shopify, and Webflow. I dream of new ways to employ CSS, HTML, and Javascript to bring my client’s vision to life.
I started SHADOWNUT Web Studio in MAR 2022 and have loved every… single… second!
Q What’s your style?
When it comes to web design, my preferences are black over white, simple over complex, fullscreen over collage, grid over flex. Check out my portfolio to see what I mean. 😃
Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?
I 😍 LOVE connecting with creative entrepreneurs across all fields. I’m in awe of what folks are able to create whether that be branding, furniture making, cooking, and styling. It’s all so cool to me. If you have a business and a vision, I’m ready to connect!
Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.
An ideal client is someone who takes their business seriously but not so much themselves. They are grateful for what they have accomplished to date but can also have a laugh at some of the tactics that were not so great. They are clear in terms of what they want next even though they may have no idea on how to get from point A to point B. They are ready for a partner to be open and transparent as well as to put in the work to bring their vision into reality.
Q: What is your rate?
Projects are priced based on what the need is. They could range from $1,500 for a single landing page to $10k+ for a fully designed e-commerce shop.
