After Hours, a boutique creative agency headquartered in Miami, with a roster of amazing lifestyle clients. We are hiring a multi-faceted, multi-talented Creative Producer to help manage the full cycle of complex projects that include photoshoots and disruptive marketing tactics, such as pop-up stores, wheatpasting campaigns and custom merch. Clients include high end fashion, spirits, sportswear and streetwear brands.

Though the work is primarily remote, we are only considering candidates in New York or Los Angeles where we have shoots and activations at least once a month. This opportunity is for 5 months with the possibility of extension into a full time role. Direct reports include a Line Producer and Account Coordinator.

You can intuitively grasp client’s goals, bring your own production experience and strategic expertise to problem solve and deal with uncertainty.

The Creative Producer is the central link of the agency; the left-brain and right-brain oriented point of contact between the different internal functions, demanding clients, and key freelancers. This person is highly organized and meticulous with detail. The Creative Producer voices creative opinions and logical solutions, working with both internal and freelancers (who our client specifically asks us to work with), and ensures that the client’s vision is adhered to, both on time and on budget.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare and lead client kickoffs, meetings and check-ins, as well as the internal checks ins to prepare for them

  • Write detailed Scopes of Work when we engage partners on behalf of our clients

  • Track full cycle for multiple simultaneous creative projects from inception through completion, including correspondence with internal and external stakeholders, vendor management, tracking timelines and deadlines

  • Scope out budgets, and own budget wrap upwards of $300K per project with support of coordinators

  • Occasionally manage external agency partners, for example, a local production agency on the ground in France

  • Support senior management on tracking correspondence with internal team, freelancers, consultants, vendors and client deliverables.

  • Manage day to day timelines and schedules for creative content: digital, social, video and some print

  • Process-driven, yet flexible and open to innovation and implementing change

  • Work with the internal teams to provide project updates, gather assets, collect feedback, and consistent ownership of organizing filing and sharing systems

  • Create and execute briefs including for designers, illustrators or animators to ensure the creative is meeting the client's brief

  • Manage project calendars, anticipating and proactively resolving potential issues

  • Manage two coordinators and assign tasks, oversee their workstreams

  • On-site participation when needed including for meetings, shoot dates and client activations

  • Deck management and understanding of information hierarchy; collaborate and lead the team on building decks in Keynote or Google Slides

  • Understanding of how to deal with talent agencies including photographer, director and model agents

  • Familiarity with freelancer and industry rates


Must-Have:

  • 4+ years of work experience in a fast-paced agency or in-house working on digital, video, print and experiential projects

  • Proven experience working with a team in a fast-paced environment with conflicting deadlines

  • Strong handle on creative language and the design process; ability to connect with creatives

  • Ability to identify potential risks to the project and proactively address them

  • Understanding of the production lifecycle: brief, budget, talent casting, set design, building ROS, shoot/day

  • Resourcefulness and a willingness to “figure it out”

  • Constantly pushing for the best work while protecting the team and their bandwidth

  • Polished communication style and experience interfacing with senior clients and creatives

  • Expert at Excel/Google Sheets, G-mail, calendar management

  • Excellent multitasking, time management and organizational abilities

  • Superior level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Professional maturity, integrity, discipline and a positive attitude


Nice to Have:

  • Excellent aesthetic taste and passion for design, architecture and fashion

  • International work experience - the next experiential project is in France in October and in the UK in November

  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills

  • Relationships with directors, writers, photographers, production companies globally

  • Prior experience in working across multiple time zones–we have partners and clients in EST, PST, UTC and CET

Location:

90% Remote, 10% in person/travel. Los Angeles, New York candidates only.
