THE ROLE

As The Lost Explorer redefines its product and brand experience for relaunch, the Digital Content Manager will lead in telling that story in order to expand, inform and engage our online audience, and build excitement and anticipation for the next stage of our business.

The Digital Content Manager will be part of a small dynamic team, and must be able to self-manage, work collaboratively, and bring a data driven approach to content creation and publishing. The Digital Content Manager will be responsible for growing our online audience and site traffic, delivering elevated multi-media content across our digital channels, and ensuring our messaging and story are told in a highly-compelling way.

The Digital Content Manager will bring innovating thinking to concept creation, narrative construction, content insights, planning, producing, distributing, platform specific formatting, audience targeting, site conversions and user engagement.

SPECIFICS

  • Plan and develop a social media strategy to successfully increase brand awareness and engagement - that you’ll implement across the social spectrum, from web to mobile.

  • Create and manage a content calendar that is in sync with content priorities and ensure delivery is met on time and on budget.

  • Develop and manage all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

  • Plan content and delivery using tools to manage multiple social media channels.

  • Form key relationships with influencers across appropriate social media platforms.

  • Ensure that content tone of voice and guidelines are strictly adhered to in all communications.

  • Own the development of our Instagram Stories platform and overseeing its development.

  • Developing, shooting and editing content for channels.

  • Write engaging copy for social posts, content titles & descriptions and post across multiple platforms.


REQUIREMENTS

  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field

  • Demonstrated experience managing social media channels

  • Proven ability to engage, connect and build an audience across multiple channels.

  • Ability to communicate results and formulate strategy.

  • Hands on experience in content creation and management

  • Ability to develop copy that expresses a consistent voice and brand language

  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics

  • Knowledge of online marketing channels

  • Familiarity with web design

  • Self-managing, collaborative and team-oriented

  • With others you are clear, transparent, respectful, and empathetic
